Middle Swan is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia in the Swan Valley, and forms part of the City of Swan local government area. The suburb is bisected by the Swan River. The suburb is most notable for its various wineries, including Houghton and Sandalford, but has the Midland Brickworks within its boundaries, as well as an accommodation facility for country students attending the Governor Stirling Senior High School and Swan Christian College. Middle Swan is the birthplace of Test cricketer Simon Katich.

Cottesloe is a western suburb of Perth, Western Australia, within the Town of Cottesloe. Cottesloe was named for Thomas Fremantle, 1st Baron Cottesloe, a prominent Tory politician and the brother of Admiral Sir Charles Fremantle for whom the city of Fremantle was named. The nearby suburb of Swanbourne was named for the Fremantle family seat, Swanbourne House, in Swanbourne, Buckinghamshire. Cottesloe was home to Australian Prime Minister John Curtin. Bashams Beach - the most beautiful bay on the South Coast of South Australia. Named after the Basham family whose farm abuts the beach. It will never be developed thank heavens. The Victor to Goolwa bike path travels through the property.

Well-known photo spot in Perth, Crawley Edge Boatshed aka Blue Boat House. Located at Mounts Bay Road, Perth WA 6005. Beautiful and Romantic place for pre-wedding's photo, couples, or even as a single such as selfie. Best time is when sunrise and sunset, better come in the early morning or late afternoon because this place is quite busy for tourist sometimes, even though just a photo spot area.
