Mount Abu is a hill station in western India’s Rajasthan state, near the Gujarat border. Set on a high rocky plateau in the Aravalli Range and surrounded by forest, it offers a relatively cool climate and views over the arid plains below. 1. Dilwara Jain Temples :
The Dilwara Temples are one of the most popular tourist attractions in Rajasthan. They are located around 2½ kms from Mount Abu, which is only hill station in the state. Built in the period between 11th and 13th century AD, the Dilwara are a great specimen of the grand architecture and beautiful carvings. In addition to being a tourist spot, the place is also a well known pilgrimage spot.
2. Guru Shikhar :
Guru Shikhar is the highest peak of the Aravalli Range and lies about 15 kilometres from Mount Abu. The height of the peak is 1722 meters from sea level thereby promising a breathtaking view of the Aravalli range and the hill station of Mount Abu.
3. Nakki Lake :
Situated in the Aravalli ranges in Mount Abu, Nakki Lake, locally known as the Nakki Jheel is a paradise for nature lovers. Flanked by amazing natural wonders, this lake is truly a gem of Mount Abu. Guru Shikhar is the highest peak of aravalli mountain range.such a pleasant view from the top and through the whole road towards the guru shikhar.there are lot of places from which you can take some amazing shots.and yes the road is also very beautiful.now talking about the destination itself,its so amazing there are some shops near parking and from there you need to climb a lot of steps to the top of the mountain.must visit parking is good.no need to carry food items you can buy from a lot of stall in your way of steps towards the top.highly recommended..
Dalwara jain temple
It is a Jain temple built 1000 years ago. From the outside, it looks like a multiple domed white building, but once you step inside, WOW. The marble carvings are beautiful and intricate. There are a total of 5 temples inside.The total time taken to visit can be from 30mins (rushed) or 2 hours. There are free guided tours every 10 to 15 minutes. Requires more maintenance, and better hygiene facilities.
Adhar devi
one has to climb for about half an hour to reach the temple cave but its worth the effort. Very scenic when you are on top of the hill. Divine blessing of the goddess.
Nakki Lake
This beautiful lake amidst Aravalli hills is one of the prime attractions in Mount Abu and we had visited the same during our trip to the hill station. This place is always crowded with tourists any time of the day and has a small market and many restaurants to eat all types of food. We had visited both in the evening and early morning to take a stroll around the lake and it was a pleasant experience. One can also enjoy boating in the lake. Raghunath Temple and many other small temples are located around the lake.

We had visited Achalgarh Temple during our trip to Mount Abu in February 2019. The fort which is in ruins with zero maintainence is located behind the temple complex. Sculptures of buffalo are present at the entrance but the building is in dilapidated condition and the water body outside is full of garbage.

The honeymoon point at an elevation of 4000 foot offers an exquisite view of the sun setting down, painting the sky yellow and red. Also known as Anadara Point, this scenic location is considered an ideal spot to unwind after a long day of travel and sightseeing.

Bike on rent also available at mount abu , you need a valid licence proof for a bike rent. you bikes are easily available on mount abu. prices are different because of season . you can take a bike on rent rs. 100 to 500 and more for a complete day fuel charges not included in rent price. you can take activa , Jupiter , 100 cc bikes and royal enfield etc.
