Stayed in Shumata camp in Northern Tanzania for 2 days. The site and the camp are really special. Located on Masai land near Mount Kilimanjaro. Shu'mata in Masai language Ma means something like above the clouds or heaven.

[VLOG] 坦尚尼亞賽倫蓋提國家公園（坎坷的路程）| Serengeti National Park
我們自己有租車，也以為自己可以開最低階的四輪傳動，經過Ngorongoro 火山湖，再開車前往位於賽倫蓋提國家公園中心點的住宿，沒想到火山湖的路已經非常的崎嶇，我們只能以時速30前進，眼看已經下午三點，連國家公園的門都沒看到，只好忍痛放下一晚250歐元的住宿，還有隔天一人150歐元的獵遊行程，轉頭回去原本Mto wa Mbu的住宿....
還好，隔天Mto wa Mbu住宿的司機再次嘗試帶我們到賽倫蓋提，開了三小時終於抵達賽倫蓋提大門後，竟然車子拋錨，輾轉的經過可以看影片，最後整整花了至少十二小時以上才抵達當晚住宿。不管如何，我們還是看到了獅子、大象、長頸鹿等動物！
We rented a car in Tanzania and thought that we could make it ourselves to the Serengeti National Park. However, we had to pass the Ngorongoro Crater, where the roads were very tough and off-road..... After 3 hours drive with 30 km per hour, we still didnt see the gate of Serengeti. We decided to turn back and tried it again with a professional driver the next day. After we made it to the gate the next day, the Landover car broke down......... It spent us at the end over 12 hours arriving at our accommodation in the middle of Serengeti National Park. Check it out the details in video!

Standing high on the edge of a towering terracotta escarpment with panoramic views over the glittering alkaline waters of Lake Manyara, Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge offers a unique blend of safari opportunities, peace and tranquillity, wildlife discovery, and ornithological richness.
Location
The Lodge is in Mto wa Mbu, Northern Tanzania, 130 kilometres from Arusha. Transfers by road from Arusha take approximately 2 ½
hours. The airstrip is adjacent to the lodge and a ‘meet and greet' and transfer service is offered.
Accommodation
The unique Lake Manyara accommodation consists of circular, double-storey, white-washed ‘rondavels' (traditional circular buildings with conical thatched roofs), which are strung out along the edge of the cliff so as to allow for maximum views.
66 Standard Rooms are made up of 15 Triple rooms, 21 Double rooms & 30 Twin rooms. 10 pairs of the rooms are interconnecting and 2 are specially adapted for thephysically challenged. 1 Suite is set slightly apart from the rest of the rooms and enjoys its own private access, spacious bedroom, elegantly appointed sitting room and generous balcony.

Arusha National Park is considered to be a gem in Tanzania's 'Northern Safari Circuit', just 40 minutes drive from the safari gateway town of Arusha, Tanzania’s second largest city and the local street markets there. The major peaks of Mt Kilimanjaro and Mt Meru surround the park and Giraffes greet you as soon as you pass the park gates. From the green swamps and thick forest to Ngurdoto Crater to the shallow alkaline lakes, Arusha National Park has a diverse and changing landscape. The only location on the “northern safari circuit”, where live the unique and beautiful black-and-white Colobus Monkey. Here too Elephants, Baboons, Cape Buffalo and a variety of other wild animals. Lake Manyara National Park is at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment in an environment of forest, grassland and swamps. It is considered one of the country’s smallest national parks but with a unique ecosystem and a large variety of animals. Wildlife include the famous tree climbing Lions, one of the largest concentrations of Baboons in the world, Buffalo, Zebra, Hippopotamus, Giraffe, Wildebeest, Warthogs, Banded Mongoose, Monkeys, Elephants and over 350 species of birds. Though Lions are found in trees throughout Tanzania, Lake Manyara National Park has developed a reputation for tree climbing Lions. Hippo pools offer a terrific view of animals whose hide alone can weigh half a ton and is the third-largest living land mammal, after elephants and white rhinos. Lake Manyara National Park is just off the main tourist highway from Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park near the village of Mto Wa Mbu, where the future of Tanzania is exemplified at the community primary school with children from a number of tribes and dialects. The East African country of Tanzania is located just south of the Equator. Over 587,000 square miles in area, home of the continents’ tallest mountain, Kilimanjaro and more national parks and game preserves than any other wildlife destination in the world. Enlightened game management, strict regulation on hunting coupled with an excellent infrastructure for tourism and guided by professional guide, Stanford Milinga, makes Tanzania a world-class destination for game viewing photo safaris.
