Germany: Oranienburg Palace and its Garden
Oranienburg Palace (Schloss Oranienburg) is a Schloss located in the town of Oranienburg in Germany. It is the oldest Baroque Schloss in the Margraviate of Brandenburg and built in a Dutch style.
The palace building dates back to 1651, it was erected for the first wife of the Great Elector, Louise Henriette. The native princess of Oranien-Nassau also gave the place Oranienburg his name.
This video mainly shows the palace garden, where the beautiful flowers were expecting us.

Août 2015 : Pour un proche de Pierre Le Grand, les élégantes façades du palais d’Oranienbaum furent élevées entre 1710 et 1725 par un architecte italien et un architecte allemand. L’ensemble fut remanié par l’architecte Alexandro Rinaldi entre 1762 et 1780. La cour d’honneur, aujourd’hui couverte d’une magnifique pelouse, est immense par rapport au palais et le jardin inférieur est agrémenté par des volutes en graviers colorés. Pendant la seconde guerre mondiale, ce palais n’a pas été incendié, ce qui a également été le cas des pavillons situés dans le vaste parc, dont l’un d’entre eux sert aujourd’hui de salle de concert de musique classique, alors qu’un autre, le fameux Palais Chinois, est connu pour sa décoration intérieure très originale et d’une finesse exceptionnelle, que très peu de touristes étrangers viennent admirer.
