Paranesti is a municipality in the Rhodope Mountains of northeastern Drama regional unit, Greece. It consists of two municipal units: Paranesti and Nikoforos. The largest villages of the municipal unit Paranesti are Paranésti , Mesochório , Káto Thólos , Χágnanto , and Prasináda . The Natural History Museum of Paranesti is located in Paranesti.

1. Aggitis Cave Aggitis
The Angitis , also known as Angista and Dramatitsa, is a tributary of the Strymonas in Northern Greece. The river is 75 km long and an important tributary of the Strymonas. Its source is in the Falakro mountains, in the regional unit of Drama, near the town of Prosotsani. It flows south until Fotolivos, where it turns west and enters the Serres regional unit. It flows into the Strymonas near Tragilos. The river is the setting for a number of extreme sports, including rafting. The Angitis cave is 21 km long. A short distance from the cave is the gorge of the Angitis, 15 km in length with a depth that reaches 100 m down to the river bed.

Lepida Falls Καταρράκτες Λεπίδας Arcadia Greece

There are a series of 3 Lepida Falls in the Parnona mountain range of Arcadia, Peloponnisos Peninsula according to this article by the nearest villager - the Platanos Resident Association
The ones captured in my video look like the No. 1 & 2 water falls in the linked article, these two falls are together (one after another).

We visited the water falls in April 2014, the water was too cold for swimming. During the summer, the weather is very dry so you may see either very little or no water at all, but you can still hike the gorge from near Platanos Πλάτανος.

This Lepida Falls should not be confused with the other series of Lepida Falls (same name) near Paranesti of Drama in the Administrative Region: Eastern Macedonia and Trace (the 4th & 5th photos of the following link)

If you type in image search in Google καταρράκτες λεπίδα (the Greek spelling of Lepida Falls), the images of the falls are mixed up from both places with most of the images appear to be the Arcadia's Lepida Falls while a few images appear to be the Drama's.
