Perm is a city and the administrative center of Perm Krai, Russia, located on the banks of the Kama River in the European part of Russia near the Ural Mountains. According to the 2010 Census, Perm's population is 991,162, down from 1,001,653 recorded in the 2002 Census and 1,090,944 recorded in 1989 Census. As of the 2010 Census, the city was the thirteenth most populous in Russia.From 1940 to 1957 it was named Molotov in honor of Vyacheslav Molotov.

    Permyak Salty Ears is a 2006 urban sculpture by Rustam Ismagilov in the city of Perm, Russia. The sculpture consists of two parts - the figure of the photographer and a round frame with large ears, in which those who wish to pose for a photograph can put their faces.The sculpture is located on the main street of the city of Perm, Komsomol Prospect, near the Ural hotel and is located on the Perm Green Line - a pedestrian route for tourists. The monument was unveiled on April 1, 2006.

    The Legend of Perm Bear or The Walking Bear is a sculpture in Perm, which depicts a walking bear . It is situated in the central part of city, at the Lenin Street, in front of Organ Concert Hall and close to the building of Legislative Assembly of Perm Krai. The author of the sculpture is Vladimir Pavlenko, a monumentalist sculptor from Nizhny Tagil, a member of Artists' Union of Russia and UNESCO International Association of Arts. The monument is made with synthetic stone and occupies an area about 3.5 m2. The mass of bear is about 2.5 tonne, the foundation is 1.0 tonne. The sculpture was opened on September 9, 2006.
