Visiting a Buddhist Shrine in Japan: Part 3 - Japan Honeymoon 2013 - Expertly Dyed
We traveled to Ueno and stumbled upon an awesome cultural park full of gardens, shrines, and museums. If you end up here, you could easily spend the entire day walking around and visiting the museums here. There's also some great food nearby and it's not far from the Ueno station (literally, you just walk 1 block and you're there!).

Enormous food tour! With only a few days in Phuket we knew we wanted to see see as much as possible, understand why Phuket has become this food mecca in Thailand and obviously taste as much as possible. Visiting the Phuket Old Town Market seemed like a good start.
Thai food is so much more than Pad Thai and A Chefs Tour showed us that's not always the best food option either, depending on your taste of course - Chinese, Malay and Burmese food influence the food of Thailand and Phuket so much, so in this vlog we spend 5 hours learning and tasting it all!
Safe to say there was enough food to last 4 and a half days worth of eating haha.

B.S. Adventures In Japan: Day 4 Pt. 1, Gyoen Park Shinjuku, 7-11 Pancakes
Day 4 was a long day, so long we split it into 3 separate videos.
First we enjoyed a 7-11 Pancake Breakfast. The pre-packaged pancakes are a 7-11 favorite, especially among tourists. Each package has 2 sets of 2 pancakes held together with butter and syrup in between. I loved eating them cold and is one of my favorites while visiting Japan.
After breakfast we headed to Gyoen Park in Shinjuku. It was a quick 10 minute walk from the Shinjuku Train Station and for a small fee; you have full access to the park. We saw a traditional Japanese garden, a Taiwan Pavilion, and many trees and flowers from all over the world. It is well known for being the most beautiful park for cherry blossom viewing and even though we were not there during cherry blossom season, it was still a sight worth seeing. Many locals will picnic in the park and you can see the occasional jogger. There is also a green hose which holds many exotic flowers and an indoor water fall. Inside the Shinjuku entrance , on a hot day, there is an ice cream shop with tasty treats and water to cool you down.
Shinjuku Gyoen is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday,
closed Tuesday in weeks in which Monday is a national holiday.
Admission is about $2 for adults, less for students and children.
