Pláka is the old historical neighborhood of Athens, clustered around the northern and eastern slopes of the Acropolis, and incorporating labyrinthine streets and neoclassical architecture. Plaka is built on top of the residential areas of the ancient town of Athens. It is known as the Neighborhood of the Gods due to its proximity to the Acropolis and its many archaeological sites.

    The Pavlos Vrellis Greek History Museum also known as Pavlos Vrellis Museum of Wax Effigies is a privately owned wax museum in Ioannina regional unit, Greece. It was set up by the sculptor Pavlos Vrellis in February 1983, and is the best known wax museum in Greece. The museum hosts 150 wax models in 37 themes, inspired by various events from Greek history.

    The Archaeological Museum of Milos is a museum, in Plaka, Milos on Milos, in Greece. Its collections include exhibits dating from the late Neolithic to the Byzantine period. The unique is collection of ancient Cycladic art, especially numerous findings from Phylakopi on Milos, from early Bronze Age to the late Bronze Age. The best pieces from Phylakopi are indeed in Ashmolean Museum , in the British Museum and in the National Museum of Athens and elsewhere around the world, but also here to Milos remained enough nice things. The museum is housed since 1985 in a neo-classical building dating from 1870 on the main square in Plaka. In porch of the building and on courtyard is lapidary with torsos from the late antiquity.
