Randonnée au Cap-Vert | A pied entre mer et montagnes
L'aventure vous tente ?
Découvrir le Cap-Vert, c’est être confronté à la terre d’aventure par excellence. Tels des bouts de Terre posés sur l’océan, les îles de l’archipel apparaissent comme un véritable petit paradis pour les aventuriers en mal d’activités de plein air.
Nature préservée, végétation luxuriante, sites de plongée à foison et vie nocturne hyper animée, une aventure Cap-Vert ne laisse jamais part à la déception.
L’île São Tiago abrite la capitale, Praia, ainsi que Cidade Velha, charmant village édifié par les Portugais, São Domingos jouissant d’un panorama plus verdoyant, et Tarrafal, dont les plages immaculées valent également le détour.
Deuxième île, de par sa taille, São Vicente est sans doute la plus animée de toutes. La présence de la plus belle ville de l’archipel, Mindelo, et son ambiance pittoresque, n’est sans doute pas étrangère à tout cela.
Un peu plus au nord, on retrouve São Antão. île du randonneur avec un grand R, c’est bien ici que les paysages et la végétation sont les plus ahurissants. L’environnement boisé, et les reliefs montagneux offrent de belles possibilités de randonnées. Dans un autre genre, Brava présente aussi quelques balades sympathiques qui en raviront plus d’un.
Mais, c’est incontestablement sur le mont Fogo que devra se rendre celle ou celui qui aime taquiner du bâton de marche. Seul volcan actif du pays, il offre du haut de ses 2 830m, une vue époustouflante qui se mérite autant qu’elle s’apprécie. Un must dans le genre, parole de Nomade !

Sal is an island in Cape Verde. It belongs to the northern group of islands, called Barlavento (windwards), and comprises a single administrative division, the Sal municipality. The island is home to Amílcar Cabral International Airport, the main airport of Cape Verde.
The island was discovered on December 3, 1460 and named Llana until salt deposits were found. Sal is the geologically oldest island in Cape Verde, formed 50 million years ago during the eruption of a volcano which is now inactive.
The island is 35 km long by 12 km wide. It is one of the three sandy eastern islands (Sal, Boa Vista and Maio) of the archipelago, with white sandy beaches and fairly flat. The highest elevation of 408 m is at Monte Grande. Serra Negra has a height of 92 m.

Republika Zielonego Przylądka (port. Cabo Verde, República de Cabo Verde) – państwo wyspiarskie na Oceanie Atlantyckim, położone 620 km na zachód od zachodnich wybrzeży Afryki, geograficznie tożsame z Wyspami Zielonego Przylądka wraz z wodami terytorialnymi.
Wyspy Zielonego Przylądka stanowią archipelag położony w środkowej części Oceanu Atlantyckiego, 620 km na zachód od wybrzeży Afryki, na wysokości Przylądka Zielonego. Wnętrza wysp są górzyste z najwyższym szczytem Pico – 2829 m n.p.m. Wyspy zajmują powierzchnię 4033 km2. Wszystkie, oprócz wyspy Santa Luzia, są zamieszkane. Główne miasta: (stan na 1 stycznia 2005 r.): Praia – 113 364 mieszkańców, Mindelo – 70 611 mieszkańców, Santa Maria – 17 231 mieszkańców, Assomada – 9488 mieszkańców, Sao Filipe – 8189 mieszkańców.
