Windy evening and view of settlement along the banks of Tungabhadra river in Karnataka and amazing view of Raichur Fort. Rocky area with nucleated settlement and most of builds are constructed with rocks. There is also a department which studies about human history and prehistory through ancient artifacts and other physical remains.
Raichur a city situated between the Krishna and Tungabhadra rivers in Karnataka, Bengaluru. The city that has an attachment to history and culture that goes back to the days of Emperor Ashoka.
Raichur is said to have originated from Telugu words “Rai” meaning stone and “ooro” meaning town, combined to Raichooro, a town of stones. Raichur fort is one of the famous tourist destinations which were built in 1294 by the Kakatiyas.

The Tallest Temple in India as seen from the Train. Murdeshwara Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva situated in the Coastal belt of Uttara Kannada district in the state of Karnataka, India. Murdeshwar is another name of the famous Hindu god Shiva. The temple is famous for two main reasons firstly for being the world's second tallest Shiva statue (123-feet tall ) and secondly for the Tallest Temple Tower constructed in India measuring 237.5 feet tall standing on the sea shore of the Arabian Sea. Murdeshwar has a railway station on the Mangalore - Goa, Konkan railway route and many Express trains halt here for Tourists and Pilgrims.
