Ravangla or is a small tourist town situated at an elevation of 7000 ft in South Sikkim district of the Indian state of Sikkim. It is connected by state highway to other major towns in the state and lies between Pelling and Gangtok. It acts as the starting point for the trek to Maenam Wildlife Sanctuary. It is approximately 65 km away from the state capital Gangtok and 120 km away from Siliguri, West Bengal.

How to reach Pelling: - You can easly acces Pelling by air or by road. By Air you get two airports one is in Gangtok Pakyong Airport and another is Bagdogra. PELLING 3 Days Trip | Pelling Sightseeing | West Sikkim Tourism
Pelling is a small town in West Sikkim. Pelling is popular for its jaw-dropping view of Mount Kanchenjunga, the 3rd highest peak in the World. People are coming and visit this beautiful place from all around the World. The distance of Pelling from NJP is approximately 135 km. You can get private cabs or shared taxi from Siliguri or NJP railway station for Pelling. Jeep service / cab service also available from Gangtok. This little town is situated at an altitude of 6,800 ft.
You can visit Pelling for minimum 3 days to cover some of the top sightseeing places around it. We visited the following top Pelling sightseeing spots.

#3. Singshore Bridge
#4. Helipad Ground
#5. Ravangla Buddha Park
Though there are 2-3 spots where you can also visit if you have extra 1 day. Pelling Tourism is improving day by day. The cab / taxi service is very good from Pelling Tourism. You can also book hotels, cars in advance from Pelling Tourism office.
Our this 3 Days short trip to Pelling is a budget trip and anyone can do it with a very minimun of budget. West Sikkim is very close to Mount Kanchenjunga, so we can get the very close look of this massive mountain from Pelling Town. Though we unable to see the mountain for long as it was cloudy at that time.

Pelling is a small town in west Sikkim district in Indian state Sikkim. Located at an altitude 7200 ft above the sea level, the town is 117 Km away from the capital city Gangtok. Overlooked by snowy mountain peaks and dotted with stunning waterfalls this is the most beautiful location of the state Sikkim. And for this reason the hill town gained immense popularity among tourists. This has become one of the fastest growing tourist spots of the state.
The small town that connects Pelling to the capital city of Sikkim Gangtok is Ravangla. This is another beautiful place popular for natural beauty. Ravangla is 89 km away from Pelling and 65 Km from Gangtok.
How to Reach Pelling
Pelling can be reached both by train or air from any part of India. By train reach New Jalpaiguri station first. By air reach Bagdogra airport. NJP or Bagdogra is well connected to all other cities of India. From there take a car or bus to reach Pelling. The distance of Pelling from NJP is 137 km and from Bagdogra is 140 km. It will take around 6 hrs to reach Pelling from NJP or Bagdogra by road. You can also avail a share cab to reach Pelling from Badogra or NJP. The fare is Rs 600 per person. There is also chopper service available from Bagdogra to Pelling. Fare is Rs 3500 per person. However, you can avail chopper service only through prior booking.
