Templer Park is a forest reserve in Rawang, Gombak District, Selangor, Malaysia. It is 1,214 hectares in size and it was named in honour of Sir Gerald Templer, a British High Commissioner in Malaya. On 8 September 1954, His Highness the Sultan of Selangor, the late Sultan Hishamuddin Alam Shah declared that Templer’s Park was 'dedicated by Selangor to serve as a refuge and a sanctuary for wildlife and a meeting-place for all who love and respect the beauty of nature'. The following year the government gazetted the area as “a Botanical Garden and Public Park” under the land enactment .This forest reserve consists of multi-tiered waterfalls, jungle streams and trails. It is located next to the Perdana Putra, which houses the Malaysian Prime Minister's office and man-made Putrajaya Lake. The pink-domed Putra Mosque is constructed with rose-tinted granite and consists of three main functional areas – the prayer hall, the Sahn, or courtyard, and various learning facilities and function rooms. The Chin Swee Caves Temple is a Taoist temple in Genting Highlands, Pahang, Malaysia. The Chin Swee Caves Temple is situated in the most scenic site of Genting Highlands. Within the Temple is seated a statue of Qingshui, a Buddhist monk who has long been referred to as a deity in Fujian province, China for his supernatural abilities to summon rain and drive away evil spirits. The Temple attracts many local and foreign devotees from Singapore, Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand,Kenya and China. The Chin Swee Caves Temple is situated on a 28-acre plot of rocky forested land donated by Genting Group founder the late Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Lim Goh Tong. The retreat is surrounded with 360° views of the Kanching Rainforest Reserve. Upon arrival you would feel as if you have travelled to a remote area but only a 30 minute drive away from the centre of KL. Escape from the hustle and bustle of city life and hold your family and friend gatherings here. The natural environment allows every guest to chill, relax, destress and recharge. You have the whole space of about three (3) acres on an elevated land to yourselves. There is a viewing deck with scenic views overlooking mountains (Bukit Takun/Anak Bukit Takun), a lake and golf course. Charcoal with BBQ and other kitchen tools are provided for your cooking needs. We are also in close proximity to eating places and Tesco is a 5 minute drive away.
