Salir do Porto is a former civil parish in the municipality of Caldas da Rainha, Portugal. In 2013, the parish merged into the new parish Tornada e Salir do Porto. The civil parish has an area of 9.86 square kilometres and had a population of 797 at the 2011 census.Salir do Porto was the northernmost parish of the municipality of Caldas da Rainha. It has a beach with a famous sand dune almost 49 metres high. The beach is located by the river Tornada that flows into the São Martinho bay. There are other beaches on the ocean side.   • 1. Batalha Monastery Batalha
    The Monastery of Batalha , literally the Monastery of the Battle, is a Dominican convent in the municipality of Batalha, in the district of Leiria, in the Centro Region of Portugal. Originally, and officially known, as the Monastery of Saint Mary of the Victory , it was erected in commemoration of the 1385 Battle of Aljubarrota, and would serve as the burial church of the 15th-Century Aviz dynasty of Portuguese royalty. It is one of the best and original examples of Late Gothic architecture in Portugal, intermingled with the Manueline style.
