Everyone simply loves the Austrian relaxed style and enjoyment of skiing and apres skiing.. There is something that none of the other Alpine or American resorts have, the magic ingredient of Gemutlichkeit... chilled like no where else. Go to any ski village in the Austrian Tirol and you will be welcomed with open arms and probably a large beer. The ski-mountains may not be as high as in neighbouring Switzerland or France, but they are always superbly prepeared, the ski schools are friendly and well organized, the hotels clean and good value, the restaurant menus have a huge choice of traditional and international dishes. Yes, the skiing is pretty good too!
