The new, upper monastery, with its interpretation center. Descending to the old, lower monastery. The Royal Monastery of San Juan de la Peña: A mystic place of the Holy Grail. A cloister, capitals, sculptures and vaults. You have to keep walking. A little frequented way. I'm late. In Santa Cruz de la Serós, and the shop is closed. Going ahead again. Another albergue without company.

Around the old city of Caceres, Spain- Al borde del Casco viejo de Caceres
Besides the central squares in the old city, there are many interesting places in the Caceres. The old city is surrounded by city walls from the Middle Ages, with some foundation from the Roman Empire. Bordering the city walls there are picturesque narrow streets and alleys. At the south side of the old city is the Plaza Mayor, the meeting point in the city.
