Day Two: Welcome to the Jungle
Day two of our Peru trip, where we headed into the jungle itself and managed to conquer two of my biggest fears in a 6 hour time span.
On the boat into the jungle, our guide, Ivan, pointed out an alligator to me while it was resting on the banks of the river. He did this, because he knew my fear of gators... As soon as we turned to look, the gator ran charged off the banks of the river, moving directly toward our boat.
They really are just out to get me.
That evening we climbed up a large tower to see the rainforest from above. I don't do well with heights, either.
