Hansa Park: Explained
Hansa Park is a seasonal theme park, located off the Baltic Sea, in Sierksdorf Germany. The park, which is home to wide variety of attractions, caters to all types of audiences. Families can experience many of the smaller scale rides, while thrill seekers get the chance to ride some of Germany’s, and even Europe’s tallest roller coasters. In this video, we'll explore the history of the park; including their evolution from amusement park to creating the well themed immersive attractions they have today.

Timmendorfer strand - beach on Baltic Sea [HD]
Timmendorfer strand on Baltic Sea is one of the nicest beaches in this part of Germany. Clean and nice sea with about 22 °C was ok for swimming after some short adjustment to temperature.

Hansa-Park - Super Splash - Onride (POV / Camcorder Footage)
Onride auf der recht kurzen aber heftigen Wasserbahn Super Splash im Hansa-Park in Sierksdorf. Die selbsternannte Wasser-Achterbahn wurde vom schweizer Hersteller Intamin entwickelt, und bot als eine der ersten deutschen Wasserbahnen sechs-sitzige Boote und den Double Dip, die beliebte Sprungschanze. Super Splash wurde 1986 installiert und in Betrieb genommen. Trotz der Neuerungen bietet die Wasser-Achterbahn ein recht kurzes Streckenlayout, welches sich auf einen ovalen Rundkurs in 19 Meter Höhe und der darauf folgenden Abfahrt beschränkt. Dafür haben die Entwickler ihr Augenmerk auf die Abfahrt gelegt. Mit 85° Gefälle besitzt die Bahn einen der steilsten Stürze der Wasserbahngeschichte. Insgesamt 20 Meter Höhenunterschied absolvieren die Fahrgäste bei diesem Sturz und bekommen, bedingt durch die Sprungschanze das Gefühl aus den Sitzen gerissen zu werden. Ein oft verwendes Element beim Bau von Wasserattraktionen ist die drehende Einstiegsplattform, die den Fahrgästen den Einsteig erleichtern soll. Auf diese gelangt man über eine hölzerne Seebrücke, an deren Ende ein Großraumföhn gleich mehrere Personen trocknen kann. Das Video wurde zugunsten des Tons ohne gesonderte Wasserschutz-Tasche aufgenommen.

The self-proclaimed water roller coaster was developed by Swiss manufacturer Intamin, and offered one of the first German water rides six-seater boats, and the double dip, the popular ski jump. Super Splash was installed in 1986 and put into operation.
