Sør-Trøndelag [ˈsøːr ²trœndəlɑːɡ] was a county comprising the southern portion of the present-day Trøndelag county in Norway. It bordered the old Nord-Trøndelag county as well as the counties of Møre og Romsdal, Oppland, and Hedmark. To the west is the Norwegian Sea , and to the east is Jämtland in Sweden. The county was separated into a northern and southern part by the Trondheimsfjord. Slightly over 200,000 of the county's population lives in the city of Trondheim and its suburbs.     Dolm Church is a parish church in Hitra municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located at Dolmvarden, on the southwestern coast of the island of Dolmøya. It is one of the churches for the Hitra parish which is part of the Orkdal prosti in the Diocese of Nidaros. The white, stone church was originally built around the year 1188 and for centuries it was the main church for the prestegjeld of Hitra. The church was built in a long church plan in a Romanesque style with rounded arches and thick stone walls by an unknown architect. The church seats about 200 people.
