The island is privately owned and located opposite to the agrarian region Neos Marmaras Halkidiki at Toroneos Gulf, between Porto Carras and Porto Koufo and at a distance of about 500 meters from shore (Sithonia). Between the island and the coast there is another smaller island, owned by the Greek state, which together with a rocky third (islet) are the complex bearing the name Spalathronisia. The total area of the island along the foreshore is 103,782 sq.m.
