Spodnja Sorica is a village in the Municipality of Železniki in the Upper Carniola region of Slovenia. It is the birthplace of the Slovene Impressionist painter Ivan Grohar. The house in which he was born stands in the middle of the village and holds a small collection of items associated with Grohar and an ethnographic collection as well as a gallery. The local church, dedicated to Saint Nicholas, also contains some of Grohar's early paintings and there is a statue of him nearby.

1. Triglav National Park Slovenia
Triglav National Park is the only national park in Slovenia. It was established in its modern form in 1981 and is located in the northwestern part of the country, respectively the southeastern part of the Alpine massif. Mount Triglav, the highest peak of Julian Alps, stands almost in the middle of the national park. From it the valleys spread out radially, supplying water to two large river systems with their sources in the Julian Alps: the Soča and the Sava, flowing to the Adriatic and Black Sea, respectively.

St. Thomas church timelapse

Church of Saint Tomas near Skofja Loka town is one of the most picturesque church spots in Slovenia. With The Kamnik-Savinja Alps in the background, the scene feels almost surreal. Mornings are often foggy which adds atmosphere to the scene.

The footage was taken from a hill on the opposite side, which you can reach from the village Spodnja Luša.
