The monuments on the island town of Srirangapatna has been nominated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and its application is pending on the tentative list of UNESCO

One Day Mysore Tour from Bangalore | Mysore Trip with KSTDC Tour Guide
One day trip to Mysuru by KSTDC(Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation, India). It covers Srirangapatna and Mysuru. KSTDC provides a professional guide to enrich tourist's knowledge about the spots in English, Hindi, Kannada language.
Description-
KSTDC operate daily tour package to Mysuru and Srirangapatna. They cover important places in both Srirangapatna and Mysuru. Some of the places covered are Daria Daulat, Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple at Srirangapatna. At Mysuru, they cover Chamundi Hills, Mysore Palace, Zoo, St. Philomena Church and Brindavan Gardens.
1. Daria Daulat Bag of Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace - Is an example of Indo-Islamic architecture and was the summer residence of the Mysorean ruler Tipu Sultan. It is open all days. visiting time: 8:30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. Entrance Fee as on November 2018, Indians: Rs. 5 Foreign Tourists: Rs. 100
2. Sringapatna fort - It was Built by the Timmanna Nayaka in 1454, the fort came to prominence during the rule of Tipu Sultan. The Fort is open daily from 9am to 6pm and there is no entry fee.
3. Jumma Masjid of Majid-i-ala - Build by Tipu Sultan.
4. Gun Powder storehouse
5. Tipu Sultan's death Place - Where Tipu was shot and killed in the evening of 4th May 1799.
6. Tipu's Palace - The Srirangapatna Fort had Lal Mahal and Tipu's palace, which were demolished during the British capture of 1799.
7. Sriranganathaswami Temple - It, is dedicated to the Hindu god Ranganatha (a manifestation of the god Vishnu).
8. Wall of Tipu's Palace - The Fort and all other inside the Fort is maintained as protected monuments under the Banglore Circle of the Archaeological Survey of India.
9. St Philomena Church - With the fame of being one of the largest churches in India, this majestic church captivates everyone with its architectural excellence. It also boasts of being the second largest church in Asia
10. Mysore Palace - Mysore Palace is the most prominent tourist destination of Mysore that attracts millions of visitors around the year. Entry charge to the palace is Rs. 40 for adults, Rs. 20 for students between 10 to 18 years of age and Rs. 200 for foreign nationals.
11. Chamundi Hills - Named after goddess Chamundi Chamundi Hills is located 13 km east of Mysore.
12. Mysore Zoo
13. Brindavan Gardens - It is one of the best terrace gardens in the world. A must sightseeing place of a Mysore tour, Brindavan Garden mesmerizes everyone by Lighting and Dancing Fountain.
6.30am to 9pm Entry Fee 15 per person for Adults, 5 per person for 5 to 10Yrs Children.

200+ years old Wellesley Bridge Flooding | Popular tourist places in Srirangapatna
200+ years old Wellesley Bridge is a popular tourist place in Srirangapatna. Wellesley Bridge Construction was startled on August 1802 and completed on October 1804.
The construction of Wellesley Bridge cost 5.5lakh Indian Rupees and supported by Krishnaraj Wodeyar Bahadur- Mysore Royal Family.
Wellesley Bridge was engineered by Dewan Purnaiya and was named after the then Governor General of India Richard Marques Wellesley.
Wellesley Bridge was constructed on Madras-Canannore Road for trade and transport across Cauvery river.
Monolithic stone pillars capped with stone corbels surmounted by stone girders constituted Wellesley Bridge.
Wellesley Bridge has faced many storms n flooding in its 200+ years of survival. In last decade it has been uncared, with dense plants growth that weaken the structure.Wellesley bridge constantly faces the threat of being washed off by constant floods!
Lets hope this 200+ years old monument is protected n strengthened up by government, so that history can be appreciated by the future generations!
