Syktyvdinsky District is an administrative district , one of the twelve in the Komi Republic, Russia. It is located in the south of the republic. The area of the district is 7,405 square kilometers . Its administrative center is the rural locality of Vylgort. As of the 2010 Census, the total population of the district was 22,660, with the population of Vylgort accounting for 45.4% of that number.
