Went to Ogawara Town Japan for Cherry Blossom on Thursday 18 April 2013. Ōgawara is a town located in Shibata District, Miyagi, Japan. Nearly 1200 Cherry trees are planted along an 8km stretch of the Shiroishi River, with the bulk of the trees found along a paved walking path between Funagaoka and Ogawara stations. A large festival ground can be found along the river near Ogawara Station and features food stalls and plenty of picnic space for hanami parties.
