Tawau formerly known as Tawao, is the capital of the Tawau District in Sabah, Malaysia. It is the third-largest town in Sabah, after Kota Kinabalu and Sandakan. It is located on the south east coast of the state in the administrative centre of Tawau Division which bordered by the Sulu Sea to the east, the Celebes Sea to the south at Cowie Bay and shares a border with North Kalimantan. 1. Ulu Kalumpang Forest Reserve Tawau
Ulu Kalumpang Forest Reserve is a region in Sabah, Malaysia. Located on the Tawau Peninsula, it was designated as a conservation area by the Sabah Forestry Department in 1992. The forest reserve is in an area called the Tawau Highlands, which also includes Tawau Hills National Park. The forest reserve is very mountainous, especially towards the south. A statewide orang-utan census carried out by HUTAN and the Sabah Wildlife Department estimated an Orang-utan population density of 0.42 individual/km² within the forest reserve. This orang-utan population of ~ 183 individuals is totally isolated and its long-term survival is insecure.

Mabul Island - Tourist Attractions in Malaysia

Mabul is a small island off the south-eastern coast of Sabah in Malaysia. The island has been a fishing village since the 1970s. Then in the 1990s, it first became popular to divers due to its proximity to Sipadan island.

Located 15 km from Sipadan, this 20-hectare piece of land surfaces 2--3 meters above sea level, consists mostly flat grounds and aerial view is oval-shaped. Surrounding it are sandy beaches, perched on the northwest corner of a larger two square kilometer reef.

Mabul island is administered by Semporna, Tawau district.

Semporna & Tawau Trip (4D3N)

A road trip with friends from Kota Kinabalu to Semporna and Tawau passing by Lahad Datu just for a while. We went to 4 island different island called Pulau Tatagan, Pulau Bohey Dulang, Pulau Mantabuan and Pulau Sibuan nearby Semporna. Some of the footage are noisy and blur due to the quality of the action cam wasn't very good in low light. Enjoy watching and thanks.
