Torul is a town and district of Gümüşhane Province in the Black Sea region of Turkey. According to the 2010 census, population of the district is 12,385 of which 4,421 live in the town of Torul. The district covers an area of 1,079 km2 , and the town lies at an elevation of 1,113 m .

1. Karaca Cave Torul
Karaca Cave is a network of caves located near the town of Torul in Gümüşhane Province, Turkey. Although the cave was known to the people living in that region, it became open to tourism as a result of the scientific research conducted by Sukru Eroz, a geological engineer from Cebeli Village, between the years 1983-1990. Prof. Dr. Remzi Dilek and his team from the Department of Geological Engineering at the contributed a lot of research and scientific studies of the cave. As a result of these studies, it was opened to tourism in 1996 after the Ministry of Culture and Tourism was informed and the cave was officially registered.

Ballıca Mağarası / indere mağarası Tokat Pazar

Ballıca Mağarası olarak bilinen İndere adıyla da[1] anılan, Karadeniz Bölgesi'nde, Tokat'ın isminide verdiği Ballıca, Pazar'da bulunan dünyanın en büyük mağaraları arasında yer alan 1995'ten bu yana ziyarete açık mağara. Oluşumu yaklaşık 3,4 milyon yıl[2] önce başladığı tahmin edilen Ballıca Mağarası yaklaşık 680 metre uzunluğunda 90 ile 95 metre yüksekliğindedir. Toplamda 5 kat ve 8 salondan oluşan ve günümüzde halen bazı bölümlerde oluşum devam eden mağarada yaz ve kış ortalama sıcaklık 17-19 derece arasında olup ortalama nemi %55'i aşmaktadır.(Kaynak: Vikipedia)

The city lies along the Harşit River, at an elevation of 5,000 feet (1,500 m), about 40 miles (65 km) southwest of Trabzon. According to the 2010 census, population of Gümüşhane urban center is 28,620. The district covers an area of 1,789 km2 (691 sq mi), and the town lies at an elevation of 1,227 m (4,026 ft).
