My Dando ancestors lived in Dursley, Gloucestershire, during the 18th and 19th centuries and had strong connections with the Tabernacle. A plaque to the memory of John Dando and his wife, Susanna, is located on the wall to the left of the pulpit. This video was taken during 2008.

The annual fireworks display together with a Fair takes place around the Autumn half term schools holiday in the Stroud, Gloucestershire, England, area. It has done so for over 60 years now. Organised by the Rotary Clubs, Round Table organisations. All the profits go to local charities and local branches of national charities. It attracts several thousands of people every year. Local organisations are involved in setting it up. The Fairground rides and the Firework Display are always in the hands of professionals. The Police and First Aid organisations are always in attendance. There has never been a problem of any sort!
