Ust-Nera is an urban locality and the administrative center of Oymyakonsky District in the Sakha Republic, Russia, located in one of the coldest permanently inhabited regions on Earth, approximately 870 kilometers northeast of Yakutsk, the capital of the republic. As of the 2010 Census, its population was 6,463.
