Visim Nature Reserve is a Russian 'zapovednik' protecting an area of southern taiga in the low Middle Ural Mountains. in 2001, it was named a UNESCO MAB Biosphere Reserve. It is named for the ancient village of Visim, which was home to the Russian writer Dmitry Mamin-Sibiryak, who wrote about rural life in the Urals. Most of the reserve is located on its western slope in the headwaters of the Sulёm River, a right tributary of the Chusovoi River, part of the vast Volga-Kama basin.   • 1. Leaning Tower of Nevyansk Nevyansk
    The Leaning Tower of Nevyansk is a tower in the town of Nevyansk in Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia, built in the 18th century. Its construction was funded by Peter the Great’s associate and a famous Russian manufacturer Akinfiy Demidov . The height of the tower is 57.5 metres from the ground and the base is 9.5 metres square. The deviation of the top part of the tower from a right angle is about 3 degrees. There is still no evidence to this day as to when exactly the Nevyansk Tower was constructed. Russian historians believe that it was built between 1721 and 1745. Also, there is no information about the architect of this unique edifice. The Weather Channel has stated that it was built circa 1732.
