The purpose of this video is to determine where the safest cities to live are in North Dakota. Those places where crime is usually something you hear about on Facebook, but not from your local paper.
We analyzed cities in North Dakota with a population of more than 5,000 using the latest FBI crime data.
Here are the 10 Safest CITIES in NORTH DAKOTA for 2019:

Took in a hike on the North Country Trail in North Dakota. Went to the only waterfall in the state of North Dakota. About a 4.5 mile day hike. This video is the result of North Dakota Tourism's RU Legendary slogan. It was a fun trip!

Lake Vermilion South Dakota - van life. Here is a quick look at one of the nicest camping spots we stayed at during our 10 day van trip. It was reasonable on price, very clean and tidy and very quiet. We highly recommend this campground if you are in the area.
Bob Coleman, The Long Island Kid - Texas Flying Legends Museum
On Wednesday October 5th, 2011, Bob Coleman, retired crew chief for the 355th Fighter Group during WWII, met up with an old friend. Captain Nobel Peterson of North Dakota, pilot of the P-51 Dakota Kid II, had Bob Coleman's nick name Long Island Kid painted on the plane during the war. On this day, The Long Island Kid met up with his old friend at the American Airpower Museum in Long Island, New York.
Other planes from the Texas Flying Legends Museum Making the trip with Dakota Kid II piloted by Casey Odegaard were: Robert Odegaard flying Whistling Death, a FG-1D Corsair, Alan Miller and F. Lee Bailey flying Betty's Dream, a B-25 Mitchell bomber from Maine to Republic Field, (then Alan and his dad Bill Miller flew Betty's Dream to Ellington Field in Houston) and Warren Pietsch, flying Last Samurai, the only remaining A6M2 Japanese Zero still flying in the world today.
The Texas Flying Legends Museum is based out of Ellington Field in Houston, Texas. Each spring the museum's collection of planes fly to Minot, North Dakota, each summer to Wiscasset, Maine, and back to Houston each fall. While on this annual journey the planes are flown to numerous regional events where they are used to honor our nation's heroes and inspire our younger generations.

This marks the final segment to the trip. We take I-29 to Council Bluffs and I-80. We stay on I-29 crossing into Nebraska and Omaha on I-480/U.S. 6. After a few surface streets we come to the end of the video. Now I'll let you off a few blocks from the house because as soon as I pull into my driveway I'm taking the whole video system down so I'll be busy. however I'll take this time to thank you for riding along, and if you're up to it we can go again, because I am! Fort Abercrombie North Dakota Wild Rice River Day 8 of 90 Day Video Challenge
Find out how I worked along the Wild Rice River today, near the Fort Abercrombie State Historic Site.
The Wild Rice River flows through Fort Abercrombie North Dakota. Fort Abercrombie was an active traders fort in the early 1860's. The sounds of the river have always calmed me and brought peace within. I live 15 miles South of the fort. In Breckenridge Minnesota. Also along where three rivers meet. I enjoy getting outdoors, along the Wild Rice River banks, and just taking it all in.
Besides the Wild Rice River, and the Fort, Abercrombie can boast as being a State Historic Site. North Dakota land near the rivers was populated by American Indians. This was due to the ease of being able to travel along the Wild Rice River in canoes. Fort Abercrombie was a popular trading fort for the soldiers.
The Old Soldiers Fort buildings still stand in Fort Abercrombie, North Dakota. It's a perfect spot for visitors, travelers, or even for a family outing. You can picnic near the Wild Rice River after visiting the buildings and museum. I remember visiting the Fort when younger. You get a good feel of what it was like to live back in the 1860's.

Sica Hollow Trail of the Spirits has many myths and legends passed on from Native Americans to the white settlers. These myths and legends are still alive today. Some say Sica Hollow Trail of the Spirits is haunted, bigfoot lives there, and/or stories of hobbits or little people.
When visiting Sica Hollow Trail of the Spirits I found nothing but beauty and greenery. I truly enjoyed hearing the streams flowing, and then finding them hidden amongst the brush.
I can now scratch Sica Hollow Trail of the Spirits off my bucket list.
