A Day in Taichung, Taiwan
Taichung is about 2 hours south of Taipei and is home to the country's biggest night market. I recently went there for a one-day blogger event where pretty much all we did was eat! Watch until the end to check out Fengjia Night Market, the biggest night market in Taiwan and arguably the city's most popular attraction.

TAIWAN VLOG | Day 4: Feng Jia Night Market in Taichung (Must Visit in Taiwan)
This is my 2nd favorite night market in Taiwan!! A must visit place in Taichung. This night market is quite huge compared to other night markets in Taiwan. Lots of food, cosmetics, shoes, and many many mooooore!
To go there:
Take Bus 35 (NOTE: Will not recommend this bus if you're in a hurry, it has MANY stops) and alight at Feng Chia Night Market. FARE IS NTD 0. Yes, it's free.
Another option is Bus 300 or 304.

Maple Garden (秋红谷) & Luce Chapel (路思義教堂)
Maple Garden (秋红谷)
Maple Garden is a unique U-shaped recreational greenland for the city residents. It has an area of 3 hectares, and contains a lake, red trees, green grass, and observatory bridge. It is a great place for talking a walk, going on a date, and exercising. During the day, there is comforting greenness, and at night, it is filled with sleepless lighting. It has only been opened for half a year, and has rapidly become one of the most famous scenic spots in Taichung.
How to get there?
From Taichung Station, Ride a bus numbers 300 to 309 and drop to Maple Garden.
Luce Memorial Chapel(路思義教堂)
is a Christian chapel on the campus of Tunghai University in Xitun District, Taichung, Taiwan.
It was designed by the firm of noted architect I. M. Pei (貝聿銘), who was also responsible for the master plan and the early development of the campus of Tunghai University, with likely participation by architects Chi-kuan Chen (陳其寬) and Chao-kang Chang(張肇康).
How to get there?
From Taichung Station, Ride a bus numbers 300 to 309 and drop to Tunghai University or Taichung Veterans General Hospital. The Luce Chapel is located inside the Tunghai University. Around 10 minutes of walking from the entrance.

Yizhong Street (Chinese: 一中商圈; pinyin: Yī Zhōng Shāng Quān) is a street located in North District, Taichung, Taiwan. It is located between Sanmin Rd. (三民路), Yizhong St.(一中街), Taiping Rd.(太平路), Yucai St.(育才街), Yucai South St.(育才南街) and Yucai North St.(育才北街). Taichung (Hokkien POJ: Tâi-tiong), officially known as Taichung City, is a special municipality located in center-western Taiwan. Taichung has a population of approximately 2.78 million people and has been officially ranked as Taiwan's second most populous city since July 2017. The current city was formed when Taichung County merged with the original provincial Taichung City to form the special municipality on 25 December 2010.
Located in the Taichung Basin in central Taiwan, the city became a major economic and cultural hub during Japanese rule. It serves as the core of the Taichung–Changhua metropolitan area, with Xitun District serving as its industrial and manufacturing base. After Sun Moon Lake ( we made our way to TaiChung and stayed the night at Kun Hotel, great accomodation that's pretty close to Feng Jia Night Market. While the night was still young, we had our dinner fixed at the night market, stall hopping one bite after another.
