Today we’re going to take you around a city that completely won us over: Taipei. As two self-proclaimed foodies who are always on the hunt for the next meal, we loved the amazing mix of restaurants and street markets the city had to offer. On top of that, there were plenty of temples, museums, and nature escapes to keep us busy throughout the day, so we actually managed to pack quite a bit into our trip. With this video, we’re going to show you 30 things to do in Taipei, Taiwan, and you can count on a few foodie recommendations to be sprinkled throughout. Now let’s get started.

劍潭山 圓山風景區 - 台北最好的風景？【中英文字幕】
禮拜天剛好不會下雨，我決定要去一個我從來沒去過的地方：劍潭山！它在圓山大飯店的後面，那個地方好像叫做“圓山風景區”。
我開始爬山，一直到一個叫做“老地方” 的風景區。風景真的很漂亮，可以看到整個台北，河濱公園，台北101，松山機場等等。另外一邊可以看到一直到淡水，八里觀音山。
不過我想提醒大家，山邊蚊子很多！
TAIWAN VLOG: Day 2 (Part 1) | Longshan Temple, Chiang Kai-Shek, Huashan 1914 Creative Park
The Longshan Temple is the one of the largest and oldest temples in Taiwan. To go there, take the MRT Bannan Line (Blue Line) to Longshan Temple Station and take Exit 1. You will see the temple across the street. The entrance is absolutely free!
Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall is a landmark in Taiwan. It was built in honor and memory of the former president of China, Chiang Kai-Shek. If you're planning to go to Taipei, be sure to visit this place. There is also no entrance fee, amazing right? To go there, take the MRT Green Line to Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall Station. We took Exit 3 and walk for about 5 mins to reach the hall.
One thing you can do here is to see the changing of guards that happens every hour. It may be a little crowded so be early.
& btw, we're soooo happy that we saw cherry blossoms!!! yay!
Huashan 1914 Creative Park for artsy like me. There are street performers at night and other activities happening around. We're just in time for the TeamLab Art Exhibition which I was so excited about! Entrance fee is 350 NTD.
To go there, take the Orange/Blue Line to Zhongxiao Xinsheng Exit 1 and continue walking until you reach Jinshan Rd. intersection. Cross the road and you'll see the park's main entrance at right.

타이난 해변가 치구지역은 염전이 있던 지역으로 소금산이 장관을 이루고 있다. 전엔 소금을 생산하던 곳이었는데 2002년부터 생산 원가가 맞지 않아 문을 닫고, 이 지역 전체를 관광자원화했다. 소금산의 높이는 약 22미터가량. 높은 소금산 정상에 오르니 확 트인 주변이 나타난다. 소금산도 아주 훌륭한 관광자원이 될 수 있다는 생각에 신선하게 느껴졌다. 한쪽에는 바닷물을 재래식 방법으로 끌어 올려 염전으로 보내는 체험장도 마련돼 있다. 누구나 자유롭게 와서 물레방아 같은 것을 돌리면 물을 퍼 올릴 수 있다. 퍼온 물을 가두고 천연 소금을 만드는 염전이다. 이젠 물이 많이 증발해 소금 알갱이가 만들어졌다. 이 소금으로 만든 작품을 전시하는 전시회도 열렸다. 소금이라고 믿기지 않을 정도로 곱고 정교하다. 타이완의 국보인 배추작품을 소금으로 다시 재현한 것이 흥미로웠다.

Daan Forest Park - Things To Do, Parks, Temples and Gardens, Taipei, Taipei
In the middle of this manic South-east Asian metropolis Taipei City lies an oasis. Daan Park is all about offering a sanctuary to the city-dwellers. Tall trees, sturdy bamboos, bushes, beautiful flowers and plants welcome you as you step into the park that covers more than 250 square meters. Since it opened to the public in 1994, Daan Forest Park has been Taipei's largest park. In Daan district, the park is bordered by Xinyi Road on the North, Heping Road on the South, Jianguo Road on the East and Xinsheng Road on the West.
Inside the park, the man-made pond surrounded by lush foliages has even some poised egrets lingering beside it and a few graceful, white geese gliding over the surface. At the centre of the park, a covered amphitheater is situated before rows of rising seating areas. Here, outdoor concerts and performances are held. In fact, a gaggle of picnickers swarm over and out of the seating areas each year, to swoon over Taipei's Summer Jazz concert (free of charge) in the sweltering Summer air.
