Zielona Góra [ʑeˈlɔna ˈɡura] is the largest city in Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland, with 139,813 inhabitants . Zielona Góra has been in Lubusz Voivodeship since 1999, prior to which it was the capital of Zielona Góra Voivodeship from 1950 to 1998. It is the seat of the province's elected assembly, while the seat of the centrally appointed governor is located in the city of Gorzów Wielkopolski.
