I went inside Old Tbilisi. The red brick monumental mosque is remarkable. There were people praying that it was a holiday. Two students from one side of the temple are reading the Koran diligently. He is a Turkish high school student in Georgia. He says there is no difficulty because he has a different religion. Christians and Muslims live together here. We live very well among our friends and brothers. A short walk from the mosque leads to synagogue Synagogue. Nearby is Georgia Orthodox Cathedral. The Caucasus is one of the most intricately intertwined ethnic and religious communities in the world. Therefore, I would not have gathered such various religious temples in one place in the sense of praying for the harmony and peace of religion.

Mosque (Tbilisi, Georgia) /
Botanical street with its narrow blind alleys and stepped yards is rather typical for a street going up a mountainous relief. At the turn of the street, in its middle part there is the only functioning mosque with a minaret under the white and blue cupola, which was built in 1864 on the spot where an old mosque used to be. Before the Soviet occupation there was another mosque in Tbilisi - a Shiite one, built by Shah Abbas close to Metekhi bridge, but it was destroyed in 1950. Since then Tbilisi Moslems have performed Mohammedan prayers in the Sunnite mosque. This is an unprecedented case when in spite of historic opposition Shiites and Sunnites go to pray into the same mosque.
Tbilisi grand mosque (A rare example of real Muslim unity) and Eid ul Adha Qurbani
Tbilisi grand mosque also called as jumma mosque where I have witnessed a rare excellent example of Muslim unity as both sacts are worshiping under one roof.
Seorang penjaga masjid dengan ramah menjelaskan tentang jadwal puasa Ramadhan tahun 2017, dimana imsaq dimulai sekitar pukul 3.30 pagi, subuh sekitar jam 5.25 pagi sedangkan magrib mulai pukul 20.30.

Minaret was reconstructed in Chela (Georgia)
Minaret was reconstructed
By Jasur Mammadov
The minaret that was taken down in a Georgian village was put back up at the mosque on November 27th night. The local government in Adigeni region of Georgia issued a permission to restore the minaret in Chela village on that day, when Muslims had gathered all the necessary documents. The majority of the city council members supported the decision.
The minaret in Chela was first installed in June of this year. Construction was followed by protests of Orthodox Christians. On August 26, the minaret was dismantled by the Revenue Service which claimed that there were problems with the custom's clearance of building materials imported for the minaret.
Muslims are not afraid of restoring the minaret and were expecting that it would be restored as soon as they had all the necessary documents.
Mamuka Vashakmadze, Mufti of Samtskhe-Javakheti region:
We want to say thanks to all organizations, government and president that they helped, us. Nowadays in Georgia democratization rise again, it is a result of democratic elections. Minaret is a symbol of motherland and democracy for us. We started to rebuild minaret as our expression for this symbols. There was different opinion among people, they were against because they thought that we will make loudspeaker and the voice would spread even for kilometers, but it was not true. This is a small village and we don't need that. If we wanted the louder voice, we would put the loudspeaker on the walls inside the building. We analyze, that here are orthodox people, with whom we live together for 30-40 years, and we had no problems, on the contrary, we helped each other. We have friendly relationship. We listened their opinion and we put up with it. We were not aggressive toward them neither religious attitudes nor as a inhabitants of neighborhood. Yesterday there were people from Georgian church, they prayed here, but we did not disturb them in praying. God created people for praying and we all pray. We have nothing against praying, church and orthodox people.
Jambul Abuladze, Imam of Chela Mosque:
We are happy about what happened, that minaret returned on its place. For this I want to say thanks to our new government. We hope, that it will not one time decision and it will continue, this kind of democratic processes. What about religious minorities, previous situation was bad, but we hope this will improve in future. Now we are not under any pressure, minaret returned on its place and we live in a normal way.
Representative of Georgian ombudsman office Giorgi Garsevanishvili visited the mosque and became interested with situation in the area.
Giorgi Garsevanishvili ,representative of Ombudsman office in Georgia:
According to the constitution every person has right of religion freedom. Minaret reconstructed again in Chela, that means, that religion minorities, muslims in this case must have possibility to pray freely.

A Sulfur baths looking like a Persian mosque in Tbilisi Georgia
We walked around the sulfur baths in the old part of Tbilisi. Here you can choose between a few bath houses to take a sulfur bath the city is famous for.
The probably prettiest one is the Orbeliani bath house that looks more like a mosque from the outside. From there you can take the steps up through a charming neighborhood with old houses and finally you end up at Narikala fortress on top of the hill.
