BiteSized History - Boston Freedom Trail Stop 5 - King's Chapel
Stop five of Presley's freedom trail prep is King's Chapel. Pretty crazy learning about this historic church with a church bell cast by paul revere himself. A church built around another church and a church shipped to nova scotia. Pretty crazy story.
Every one of these preparation videos is getting us more excited for the trip to Boston for Nerdcon Nerdfighteria.

Boston Charter Day 2012 King's Chapel Bellringing
On September 7, 2012, Boston celebrated the 382nd anniversary of the charter naming Boston. To commemorate the event, all of the bells in Boston rang at 4:30, starting with King's Chapel's 1816 Paul Revere Bell. We wanted to show where the bell is rung from and the journey up into the bell tower to see the bell itself ring, which it does. Very loudly.

King's Chapel & Crypts
On my Boston tour with @fossores and came across Kings Chapel. The history of the puritans, the english and early colonial life make this historic place soooo interesting. There are family box seats! Private Crypts in the basement! Fantastic. Boston is so very rich in history. Check it out!

King's Chapel: Candlemas Eucharist
The medieval Christian traditions observed at the King's College Chapel can often seem distant from the secular world of the university. During the Feast of Candlemas, the liturgy spills into the college quadrangle as the Chapel's clergy, congregation and choir celebrate Christ's presentation at the Temple (Luke 2: 22-40) and his position as the Light of the World. Benjamin von Bredow explains the context and content of the Candlemas tradition and its place at King's Chapel.
