So sick to get back onto a mountain bike! I am really starting to enjoy mountain biking, even the uphill part lol I think I am getting closer to knowing what mountain bike style I want. Man I still have a lot to learn with mountain biking though! I am very slow lol and my balance sucks lol But I love the peaks trail and I want to do that again! The Peaks Trail Breckenridge Colorado Short 4K 360
The Peaks Trail is one of the first mountain bike trails I rode here up in Breckenridge Colorado before I moved here. It remains one of my most favorite trails and you will see why when you watch the video. This is a long video but don't let that discourage you, if you don't have the time, watch part of it. And, remember to move the mouse around for PC, or your mobile device around, to see all the scenery around the trail. I have placed elevation and speed markers to get you back to the front of the video courtesy of Garmin. Enjoy, and get out and ride!

Breckenridge, CO Peak 8 Hike
Took the Gondola up to as high as it went and then did a 3.5 hour hike to the top of Peak 8. This video was taken at the very top after hiking through extreme uphill conditions and snow
VR: Summit of Quandary Peak (14er) - 5.2K - Breckenridge, CO
This is the surrounding view at the top of Quandary Peak in Breckenridge, Colorado. It is a 14er. I managed to hike up it in under 4 hours and then back down in about 2 hours. I came from Phoenix, Arizona where the elevation is 1086 feet. The elevation of Quandary Peak is 14265 feet. It was tough to breathe, but I managed to make it to the top faster than some of the locals so if you are in fairly good shape and planning to visit hike from out of state you should be able to do it. You may need to take a lot of short breathing breaks on the way up, but it can be done. I started at about 12:30 pm and finished at about 6:30 pm. There was ample parking available when I arrived at the mountain. I saw a mountain goat on the way down, but it didn't seem to mind that I was there.

Places to see in ( Breckenridge - USA )
Breckenridge is a Colorado town at the base of the Rocky Mountains’ Tenmile Range. It's known for its ski resort, year-round alpine activities and Gold Rush history. The Victorian core of this former mining town is preserved as the Breckenridge National Historic District, running primarily along Main Street, with colorfully painted buildings from the 1880s and '90s housing shops, galleries and restaurants.
Set at the foot of the marvelous Tenmile Range, Breck is a surviving mining town with a vibrant historic district. The down-to-earth vibe is a refreshing change from Colorado's glitzier resorts, and the family-friendly ski runs and gold-nugget history make it Summit County's most atmospheric destination. Regardless of whether it’s snow or shine, the BreckConnect Gondola up to the base of Peak 8 is where the fun begins.
The vast, hulking mountains here rise and fall, merging seamlessly into one another to present a perfect alpine backdrop. Laced with ski runs and hiking trails and stitched together with pine groves, they blaze gold in the morning, glow pink at dusk and fade into a deep shadowy blue as the sky pales then darkens, revealing endless stars best viewed from a frothing hot tub next to the roaring Blue River.

After an already long week of hiking in Rock Mountain National Park and summiting our first 14er, Gray's Peak, we decided to tackle a section of the famous Colorado Trail.
The incredibly steep ascent for than half the hike made it quite strenuous but arriving at a col with a 360 degree view was worth every step!

Colorado Drone Footage - Breckenridge, Keystone, Lake Dillon
Colorado Drone Footage - Breckenridge, Keystone, Lake Dillon -
Thanks for checking out our new aerial drone footage of Summit County Colorado!
The town at the beginning and end of the video is Breckenridge. The skate park is also in Breckenridge. The frozen lake is Dillon Reservoir, and the two shots on the slope are in the Area 51 park at Keystone Resort. All of these beautiful places are in Summit County, Colorado.
From Frisco, Colorado, which is near the center of Summit County, you can reach Breckenridge, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, Loveland, Copper Mountain, and Vail within a few minutes to under an hour.
Summit County is about 60-miles West of Denver. It can only be reached by a few highways, which results in some nasty traffic coming in and out of the towns in Summit County.
Stay tuned for more beautiful Colorado Drone Footage as soon as the grass turns green and trees are in bloom!

Breckenridge Colorado - Barney Flow trail
This was my first cross country ride in Colorado - damn, thin air sucks as I gasp for breath you can forget climbing the first couple of days.
You can thank Scott and his crew from the city of Breckenridge for creating this sweet little gem. Also the folks at Mountain Wave who hooked me up with a sweet Trek 29er rental bike - thanks for the ride Mountain Wave. What is really cool is the city has a free bus ride to haul you and your bike up to the top of their cross country mountain bike trail system - only down side is the three bike bus rack capasity - get in line on a busy day.
Enjoy
