Al Qudra Lake in Dubai
Al Qudra Lake in Dubai GPS - around 24°50'04.4N 55°22'22.5E This video was taken 4th June 2016, on a hot early evening summer.
From the tallest buildings and indoor ski park, Dubai has also opened a nature sanctuary off Al Qudra with man-made lakes surrounded by trees and bushes and is attracting animals.
Location: Al Qudra Lakes is at Seih Al Salam desert and near Bab Al Shams It is some 44 kilometers away from Mall of the Emirates in Dubai, and is near to the Al Qudra Cycling Tracks
Activities: In a June summer afternoon, the big trees are a respite from the sun’s heat. But as the sun starts to set, the breeze gives a perfect experience to settle by a chair and enjoy the open air on a summer night. Some visitors bring their dog pets to walk around, others stop by to watch ducks wade on the water, and others simply walk, or run.
How to reach: The roads heading to the lakes are not well sign-posted as of this writing so the best is to set Google maps in your gadget and follow the way. Nearer to the entrance is an open area, and you know you’re near when you see the sign “To Oasis”. This sign points to the left of the road, but there’s also another cluster of lakes to the right.

Saloon cars can drive in but must be careful not to enter loose and soft sand areas where it can get stuck. If it does, there may be 4X4 cars around to hope help from :-)
