A morning swim is one of the best ways to start the day. I joined a friend for a swim at the Sea Point Pavillion public pool. Probably one of the most beautiful public pools in the world.

Thousands gather at the Sea Point swimming pool
Thousands of people have been gathering at the Sea Point swimming pool to gain access, since the early hours of the morning. Officials estimate about 4000 people have been queuing to enter what is regarded as one of the most beautiful public pool amenities.

It's summer time in Cape Town. We headed down to Sea Point Promenade to rent some bicycle. Near the public swimming pools we found UpCycles... those orange bike guys. We grabbed two and went to see what the promenade has to offer.

We found out along the way that one can drop off bikes at the Waterfront and so proceeded to head that direction. Along the way Darren seized the opportunity to see how effective his picking up girls skills are with an Orange Bike. Turns out pretty good.... Never mind a Ferrari, picking up Girls is easier on an Upcycle. ????
