Traveling in Tuscany: The Best Wine Tasting & Wine Tours - Wine Oh TV
Wine Oh TV's Monique Soltani is Traveling in Tuscany and shows us the Best Wine Tasting and Wine Tours in the Italian Wine Region.
This is the second video of a three part video series I'm producing which highlights my recent trip to Tuscany. In my first video, Traveling in Tuscany: Uncorking Chianti Classico, we learned what Chianti Classico IS. Now it's time to introduce you to some of the amazing men and women behind the bottle. Traveling in Tuscany: Wine Tasting & Tours gets up close and personal with the kings and queens of wine country who roll out the ruby red wine carpet in our honor.
If the royal treatment wets your appetite, then meeting the Marquis of Tuscany should make you salivate. We get a taste of their intoxicating blends as we hold court at the new Marchesi Antinori Chianti Classico Cellar, go off-roading at Castello d'Albola and wine with Conte Sebastiano Capponi of Villa Calcinaia and Francesco Mazzei of Marchesi Mazzei.

Brunello di Montalcino Tuscany Tour
Today's Tuscany tour with WebVisionItaly.com visits Montalcino to sip the world famous Brunello wine. A tour around Tuscany is not complete without visiting Montalcino. On this hill is where the earliest Tuscan people lived. Named the Etruscans, they developed a high civilization here from 1000BC. The Etruscan civilization introduced the ancient Romans to many customs including wine making. Today it is the Brunello di Montalcino wine that makes the Montalcino area most famous. When travelers arrive the views and Medieval town steal their hearts. This makes the area a favorite for a Tuscany vacation. Brunello di Montalcino wine is made from the sangiovese grosso grapes grown around the hills surrounding Montalcino. The number of producers of the wine has grown from only 11 in the 1960s to more than 200 today, producing some 330,000 cases of the Brunello wine annually. Brunello was the first wine to be awarded Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita (DOCG) status. In addition to Brunello di Montalcino, which must be aged five years prior to release, 6 years for the Riserva, Rosso di Montalcino (DOC), made from sangiovese grosso grapes and aged one year, and a variety of Super Tuscan wines are also produced in the area, as well as the Moscadello sweet white wines for which it was most famous until the development of the Brunello wines. Best Dinner or Wine Ever?! - in a small town of Italy, Chianti (Tuscany)
This time we are in a small (tiny) town of Tuscany Italy, Chianti. We decided to stay in a bed and breakfast, in the middle of Italian farms, vineyards, and country, only YEE HAW was missing. More precisely, we were surrounded by the country, farms, vineyards, roosters, dogs, and bugs. It was very silent besides the loud animals. But, I thinks they were loud because of us and our drone insanity. It was actually a perfect location to try out our drone for the first time, incase of a drone crash and a consequential mitigation plan. It came close, and everyone was loud, sometimes.
Yet, the main reason is the food, wine, and scenery. The food in small towns of Italy is very different from the typical Italian touristic spots (night and Day). Food and wine is just as artistic and creative as the scenery around it. One could say, one inspires the other. We loved tuscany Italy with its farms, vineyard, food, wine, atmosphere, and would comeback again and again. SIMPLY STUNNING!
