Climate Ribbon at Brickell City Centre Documentary | Miami, Florida
Located in in the heart of downtown Miami, Brickell City Centre is a brand new $1.05B construction project that is reshaping south Florida. This mixed use project spans 3 city blocks and has 5 high-rises including the well known “East” brand hotel. Developed by Swire Properties and constructed by Americaribe, this project promises to bring a whole new lifestyle to the residents of Brickell.
The Climate Ribbon is a first-of-it’s-kind steel structure made of glass, steel, & fabric. Arguably one of the largest art installations on the southeast United States, it functions as a canopy to protect shoppers at Brickell City Centre from the natural elements. Many years of architectural planning and scientific research has gone into creating a functional piece of art that actually harnesses the air coming off of Biscayne Bay and channels it into the retail area. Using the newest technologies available, the Climate Ribbon shows that A.C. is not necessary even in the hottest of areas in the US like Miami.
Chibi Moku & Americaribe gives you an in-depth look at the architectural and scientific facets of the Climate Ribbon and shows the world what is possible with a little bit of ingenuity.

Florida Travel: Experience the Pérez Art Museum Miami in 60 Seconds
Long known for its art deco, Miami now is becoming known for its Pérez Art Museum Miami. The permanent collection and rotating exhibits here draw heavily upon the works of Latin American and Caribbean artists and strive to reflect Miami’s geographic and cultural links. And the building, designed by the Pritzker Prize-winning Swiss architectural firm Herzog & de Meuron, stands as a work of art in itself — in a distinctively Miami way. Interior and exterior spaces connect with the environmental context, deliberately showing off both the art and its subtropical city setting in ways that highlight both. Come for the art, or bring a book to enjoy by windows showing off views of the city and Biscayne Bay. Learn more about the Pérez Art Museum Miami:

Miami, FL Travel | TOP 6 THINGS TO DO IN MIAMI | Best of Miami | Super Bowl LIV
Our pre-conceived ideas about Miami were completely changed during our Babymoon. A place we once thought we didn't like has quickly become one of our favorite beach escapes here in the United States. It's not just glitz, glam, nightlife, and beaches. You can get that of course, but it's also full of art, architecture, culture, shopping, and great food. So if you're planning a vacation/holiday or maybe coming down for SUPER BOWL LIV, here are 6 THINGS YOU MUST DO while visiting Miami, FL.
1. WYNWOOD DISTRICT (Old Warehousing District)
In 2009, Tony Goldman had a vision for the Wynwood District. A revitalization effort was soon underway. The world's most talented street artists applied their skills to the 85,000 sq. ft. of barren, abandoned warehouse walls. Today, that art is on display for anyone visiting this incredibly one-of-a-kind community. The street art is not just confined to the Wynwood Walls. Street art covers every sidewalk, lamp post, and building throughout the neighborhood, which makes it a bit overwhelming. We think you'll enjoy.
Things To Do in Wynwood:
A. Wynwood Walls
Hours:
MON - THU 10:30AM to 11:30PM
FRI and SAT 10:30AM to 12AM

2nd SAT of the Month - Wynwood Artwalk 10:30AM to 12AM
Location:
2520 NW 2nd Ave.

2. DESIGN DISTRICT
This is one of the world's greatest areas for high-end shopping and people watching. 120 flagship stores, such as Balenciaga, Hermes, Fendi, and Dior call the Design District Home. Not only are there great shops, but it's also home to some incredible art and some of the best architecture in the country.

4. ART DECO DISTRICT
This is the area I think of when I think of Miami. Construction began in this area in 1910. 800+ of the buildings you see today were built between 1923 and 1943. In 1979 the district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Thanks to preservation efforts by Barbara Baer Capitman, we can enjoy the historic district today. This area is also home to Muscle Beach and famous South Beach.
Things To Do in the Art Deco District
A. Architectural Tour (Self-guided walk)
B. Official Art Deco Gift Shop. (Nostalgic Souvenirs)
Hours:
Daily 9:30AM to 7PM

Things To Do on The Boardwalk
A. Les Lalanne Art Installment at The Raleigh Gardens
Location:

6. MIAMI BEACH (Sunbathe)
This coastal resort city is the perfect escape. Nightlife, architecture, food, beautiful people, and incredible beaches. Maybe you'll catch a glimpse of a celebrity or two.

I stayed at the Dream Hotel in South Beach Miami and share my experience staying there. This was by far one of the funkiest hotels I've ever stayed in, and had a fairly younger cliental (people in their 20's and 30's). If you're looking for an art-deco inspired place to stay in the heart of Miami, then definitely put Dream Hotel on your list!

South Beach: Miami, Florida, USA #miami #oceandrive #brasileirospelomundo #florida #tipsandtrips
South Beach, also nicknamed SoBe, is a neighborhood in the city of Miami Beach, Florida, United States, located due east of Miami city proper between Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. The area encompasses Miami Beach south of Dade Boulevard.
This area was the first section of Miami Beach to be developed, starting in the 1910s, due to the development efforts of Carl G. Fisher, the Lummus Brothers, and John S. Collins, the latter of whose construction of the Collins Bridge provided the first vital land link between mainland Miami and the beaches.
The area has gone through numerous artificial and natural changes over the years, including a booming regional economy, increased tourism, and the 1926 hurricane, which destroyed much of the area. As of 2010, 39,186 people lived in South Beach.

Miami Beach, Florida: 2019's Best Views Drone Video
Brickell key is a 44-acre manmade island just east of downtown Miami. Brickell houses more foreign consulates than any other part of the United States and is the second largest financial district in the country.
The Ocean drive and South Beach area started as a humble coconut farm in 1870; but then it all transformed in the 1930s art deco revolution and 1980s fashion renaissance, to the now world-famous tourist destination which hosts more than 20 million visitors each year.
Wynwood is a must-experiences for lovers of street art. Formerly abandoned warehouses are revitalized by massive graffiti masterpieces and now serve as a hub for entertainment and art, including the Wynwood Walls, which houses 80,000 square feet of art from 50 artists representing 16 countries.
Miami’s design district started as a pineapple farm and grew into a mecca of more than 100 art galleries, antique dealers and high-end fashion. Make sure to see the Buckminster Fuller Fly’s Eye Dome and the Andrew Skate Park in the heart of Jungle Plaza.
Finally, the Everglades, this 1.5 million acre National Park houses the world’s tallest Cypress trees, some more than 600 years old. Break away from Gumbo Limbo trail to a buried path and you’ll find Hidden Lake a sight which few have witnessed. The glades is home to 16 endangered species and is the only place on earth where Alligators and crocidiles coexist.

Miami Beach is a coastal resort city in Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States. It was incorporated on March 26, 1915. The municipality is located on a variety of natural and man-made barrier islands between the Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay, the latter of which separates the Beach from Miami. The neighborhood of South Beach, comprising the southernmost 2.5 square miles (6.5 km2) of Miami Beach, along with downtown Miami and the Port of Miami, collectively form the commercial center of South Florida. As of the 2010 census, Miami Beach had a total population of 87,779. It has been one of America's pre-eminent beach resorts since the early 20th century.
In 1979, Miami Beach's Art Deco Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Art Deco District is the largest collection of Art Deco architecture in the world and comprises hundreds of hotels, apartments and other structures erected between 1923 and 1943. Mediterranean, Streamline Moderne and Art Deco are all represented in the District. The Historic District is bounded by the Atlantic Ocean on the East, Lenox Court on the West, 6th Street on the South and Dade Boulevard along the Collins Canal to the North. The movement to preserve the Art Deco District's architectural heritage was led by former interior designer Barbara Capitman, who now has a street in the District named in her honor
