Walking in the Rain in Boston, MA (Binaural Rain on Umbrella Sounds in Beacon Hill) 4k ASMR
Evening walk in Beacon Hill, Boston, Massachusetts in the rain. Enjoy the binaural sounds of natural rainfall and city ambience while walking through Beacon Hill during Autumn. Beacon Hill is one of Boston’s most picturesque areas. Boston is beautiful around this time of the year. I love the Fall foliage. Please be warned that the video contains sounds of loud horns, traffic and sirens. Depending who you are you might find relaxing, but I'm aware that some hate it. Also, This video is an edited down version of a 4-hour walk. Either way, I hope you enjoy! :)

Video begins on the airplane as we fly by the Boston skyline and land at Logan Airport. Next it is to the top of the Prudential Building for views of downtown Boston. Next I walk through Boston Christian Science Church Park with the bells ringing. I continue walking through the Public Garden and past the Old South Church and the Bull & Finch Pub, the bar used in the TV show Cheers. I pick up the Freedom Trail in Boston Common and follow it past Park Street Church, Granary Burial Ground, Old State House, Faneuil Hall and the Old North Church. I end my visit to downtown along the harbor at Long Wharf. The video concludes back at Logan Airport as I wait for my flight to Ireland.

Starting Point: Northern Avenue & D Street .
Boston is the capital and largest city[8] of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the United States. Boston also served as the county seat of Suffolk County until Massachusetts disbanded county government in 1999. The city proper covers 48 square miles (124 km2) with an estimated population of 667,137 in 2015,[9] making it the largest city in New England and the 24th largest city in the United States.[2] The city is the economic and cultural anchor of a substantially larger metropolitan area called Greater Boston, home to 4.7 million people and the tenth-largest metropolitan statistical area in the country.[5] Greater Boston as a commuting region is home to 8.1 million people, making it the sixth-largest combined statistical area in the United States.[10]
One of the oldest cities in the United States, Boston was founded on the Shawmut Peninsula in 1630 by Puritan settlers from England.[11][12] It was the scene of several key events of the American Revolution, such as the Boston Massacre, the Boston Tea Party, the Battle of Bunker Hill, and the Siege of Boston. Upon American independence from Great Britain, the city continued to be an important port and manufacturing hub, as well as a center for education and culture.[13][14] Through land reclamation and municipal annexation, Boston has expanded beyond the original peninsula. Its rich history attracts many tourists, with Faneuil Hall alone drawing over 20 million visitors per year.[15] Boston's many firsts include the United States' first public school, Boston Latin School (1635),[16] first subway system (1897),[17] and first public park (1634).
The area's many colleges and universities make Boston an international center of higher education,[18] including law, medicine, engineering, and business, and the city is considered to be a world leader in innovation and entrepreneurship.[19][20] Boston's economic base also includes finance,[21] professional and business services, biotechnology, information technology, and government activities.[22] Households in the city claim the highest average rate of philanthropy in the United States;[23] businesses and institutions rank among the top in the country for environmental sustainability and investment.[24] The city has one of the highest costs of living in the United States,[25] though it remains high on world livability rankings.[26]
Economy
A global city, Boston is placed among the top 30 most economically powerful cities in the world.[139] Encompassing $363 billion, the Greater Boston metropolitan area has the sixth-largest economy in the country and 12th-largest in the world.
Tourism also composes a large part of Boston's economy, with 21.2 million domestic and international visitors spending $8.3 billion in 2011;[147] excluding visitors from Canada and Mexico, over 1.4 million international tourists visited Boston in 2014, with those from China and the United Kingdom leading the list.[148] Boston's status as a state capital as well as the regional home of federal agencies has rendered law and government to be another major component of the city's economy.[35][149] The city is a major seaport along the United States' East Coast and the oldest continuously operated industrial and fishing port in the Western Hemisphere.

Boston Vacation Travel Video Guide
Travel video about destination Boston in the United States of America.
Boston has over half a million inhabitants and is the largest of New England's cities. As its most important commercial and financial centre, the city on the Charles River has always played an historic role and was the cradle of Independence.
In the centre of Boston, Copley Square features the Trinity Church, which contrasts with the modern Hancock Tower that dominates the skyline. Park Street Church was where, in 1829, William Garrison gave his first anti-slavery speech. In the adjacent Granary Burial Ground, some of America's most famous sons are buried, such as John Hancock, Samuel Adams and Paul Revere.
Beacon Hill has hardly changed over the past 150 years, an architectural gem with narrow, winding cobbled streets and even today, the wrought ironwork of its balconies and banisters indicate that this is one of Boston's most sought after areas.
In front of the Old South Meeting House, in 1729, thousands of Boston's inhabitants protested against the English king and the taxes that he had imposed upon them. The Old State House is Boston's oldest public building. In 1776, it was here that the Declaration of Independence was read out for the first time.
The Plymouth Plantation is a reconstruction of the Pilgrim Fathers' original settlement and is one of the jewels of the many living museums in the U.S.A. To the southwest of Boston there is the museum town of Old Sturbridge Village in which historic buildings from all over the country have been lovingly replicated. Village inhabitants in historical costumes walk and talk in wide open spaces and act out the scenes of daily life as it was two centuries ago.
New England is the traditional face of America and the heart of America's past.

Boston Fenway Neighbourhood
Boston Red Sox and the Museum of Fine Arts both are located in the Fenway area. I have called this neighborhood home since I moved to Boston.
Fenway Park is Red Sox's home stadium. It is the oldest ballpark in MLB. Fenway has hosted the World Series ten times, with the Red Sox winning five of them so far. The first, in the park's inaugural season, was the 1912 World Series and the most recent was the 2013 World Series.
The section of Boylston street adjacent to the south side of the stadium, has seen several modern high-rises built up during the last 5 years or so; Boutique furniture stores, fancy restaurants and Cafes like Starbucks moved in; The area has been transformed into a booming and fashionable location.
Walking across Boylston street, along Jersey street for 3 blocks, is the pride and gem of our neighborhood: the Clemente Field, named in honor of the legendary Hall of Fame baseball player and humanitarian, Roberto Clemente. It's a green, synthetic turf, three-lane, rubberized, all-weather, Olympic-size track and field, with stadium-lighting system, accommodating softball, baseball, soccer, gym and various track and field activities for local schools, collages and the public.
The two basketball courts adjacent to the field are where I practice the daily exercise routines in the morning with my Tai Chi friends from Boston, Cambridge, Chelsea, Dorchester, Somerville, Newton, New Hampshire, New York, Missouri, California, Guatemala, India, Russia, Japan and China.
This is a particularly good Feng Shui spot, with water (the Muddy river) flowing nearby, perfect for boosting health and well-being.
Across the Clemente Field is the Muddy river. There is a big population of Canadian Gooses and ducks around the river and the meadows. Every spring, the parades of the goslings and ducklings and their parents have always been the most adorable scenes to behold. Big fishes and turtles also live in the river.
A little bridge on the river, something right out of a Monet painting, leads to the back entrance to the Museum, the fourth largest museum in the United States, housing a large collection of Egyptian artifacts and French impressionist paintings, Monet's works among them.
One benefit of living so close to the museum is I can visit the Museum for free every Wednesday from 4 PM, so that I could view and appreciate the exhibitions at a more relaxed pace.
My apartment is at Park drive, on the top floor of a building directly facing the Clemente Field, with a panoramic view of the muddy river, the Rose garden, the Clemente Field, the back entrance to the museum, and most of all, the spectacular seasonal scenes of the Nature: Spring blossom, Fall foliage and Winter snow.
The Zan Japanese garden is right across the river via the little iron bridge.

Boston's Heritage Trail
On our second day in Boston, the intellectual capital of the US, we took the Freedom Trail, and visited all the heritage sites that make this historic city such a delightful destination.
Today's Freedom Trail bears few traces of Puritan Boston, only its old burial grounds, some 18th-early 19th century structures, and the labyrinth of narrow, crooked streets remain. On the way to a Catholic Church at Downtown Crossing to hear Sunday Mass, after parking our car near Quincy market, and without realizing it, we had already begun our heritage trail. Quincy Market of 1825 originally formed part of Faneuil Hall, and named after former Mayor Josiah Quincy, who initiated its development. Today, the building houses shops and restaurants, and serves as the meeting point of many tourists.
From Faneuil Hall, we traced our steps towards the Boston Common, passing by the new City Hall, the King's Chapel (founded in 1686 as the first Anglican Church in New England) , and the Old Granary burying ground, where we visited the pyramid honoring Benjamin Franklin's parents, and the burial sites of Samuel Adams and Paul Revere, and the unmarked grave of John Hancock nearby. After mass, we retraced our steps back to the Boston Common, took photos of the Park Street Church (which was built in 1809 on the Old Granary Building), and walked the trail mindful of the Freedom Trail marker stones along the path. We reached the old City Hall, situated at School Street, site of the first public school in America built in 1634. Old City Hall was built in the Old French Empire style, and this is where Benjamin Franklin and J. Quincy stand erect. A few meters away is the Old Corner Bookstore, one of the oldest buildings in Boston, built in 1718, and became literary center in the city, frequented by Charles Dickens and the like. Old South Meeting House was built in 1729 as a Puritan house of worship and was the largest structure in colonial Boston. The Boston Tea Party of 1773 started in the Old South Meeting House, where Samuel Adams completed his speech, saying: This meeting can do nothing more to save this country. And then, the more than 5,000 people gathered there rushed to the harbor, throwing overboard 3 shiploads of British tea into the water.
The Old State House was Boston's oldest public building erected in 1713. On July 18, 1776, it became part of the nation's history when the Declaration of Independence was proclaimed from its balcony. The Boston Massacre took place right in front of the Old State House.
By the time we got back to Faneuil Hall, it was time for lunch. We walked towards North end to look for the Union Oyster House, the oldest and still existing restaurant in the US, but at the last minute, opted to eat at Quincy market for a variety of eats. More on our second leg of the Freedom Trail in Part 2 of this series.
