A Joint Drive & Event organized by four car clubs to the highest peak of the United Arab Emirates, Jebel Jais.
The drive had 40 cars, 10 from each club, lead by Dubai Customs and Ras Al Khaimah Police.
Members enjoyed driving through the curvy mountain roads in an outstanding experience hearing different engines screaming on the way up.

Pluses:
We had an amazing three night stay together with our two children age 8 and 12. A wonderful hotel that I highly recommend. A special thanks to the Personal Concierge Priyanka Phalle for excellent managing of the room arrangements on my wife’s birthday. Beautiful! Special thanks also to the housekeeper Shubham for the beautiful towel-creations!
Great time to go, weather was perfect!!!
- The hotel is lovely, very clean and the staff were super friendly.
- Spa hot stone massage was the best we have ever had, in any location
- Hotel did a great job of contacting me and set up good deals regarding early arrival and late departure
- Room set up for spouse's birthday experience was excellent (but at an expensive price!!!)
Minuses:
Compared to other 5* hotels in hotel, this is not the best (not a patch on Madinat for example!)
- Breakfast is up until 11.00am, but the hot buffet is cleared away at 10.30am, which we were not told about
- Ate in hotel one evening & went for buffet (Italian theme) and for the price, selection was poor, it was not very spectacular or had any 5* 'wow' factor presentations
- room was beautiful, but was made up late in afternoon & coffee supplies were only x1 per person!! (no problem getting more)
- location is on the farthest side of the Palm & needed a 30min (minimum) taxi ride to get anywhere
- Palm view room gets no sunshine all day
