Olympians Honoured PC
All nine Cork Boxing Olympians were honoured at an event at Bishop Lucey Park in Cork on September 7th 2014. Sunnyside BC's Kieran Joyce, Paul Buttimer, and Michael Roche were all presented with a crystal bowl as was Christina Desmond Macroom BC. 5 other Cork boxing olympians were also honoured, W. Boy Murphy, J. Kelleher, Mossy Doyle, James Murphy, and Paddy Kenny.
