Brazos Park East
I stayed in Waco for two weeks, this is what I did in my free time.
Brazos Park East is one of the best places, in my level headed opinion, to run, fish, and relax. The calming waters of the Brazos River along with the luscious greenery will make anyone feel like in a whole new world.
Oh wow. I sound like an Infomercial. Anyways, this place was tons of fun.

We created the Jomez Pro Final 9 Tournament as a way for us to give our fans a chance to get on video for a true Jomez Productions experience. Our 10th event was held at Brazos Park East aka The Beast in Waco, TX and we couldn't have been more thrilled and humbled to see how many people came out to support us!
Here's how the format works:
We hold a traditional 18-hole mini, and the Top 4 scores automatically move on to a Final 9 holes to be filmed by us. We also had a raffle to draw for our 5th Wild Card player.
We had such a blast with this event, and we hope to hold many more of these in the near future!

2017 Jomez Productions Disc Golf
Expediter Team ~ 1st Drone Flight ~ Baylor McLane Stadium The Brazos River - Lake Waco Marina
We are out of the truck & enjoying some home time this week. We purchased a Solo 3DR drone to take out with us on the truck so we could get some nice aerial footage to add to our videos.
This is our first drone flight/video. It includes footage from McLane Stadium which is home to the Baylor Bears, The Waco River Walk & The Brazos River, & wraps up at the Lake Waco Marina.
Not to shabby for our first attempt. The aerial videos should improve with our practice of flying & controlling the drone.
We are excited to be able to add this element to our videos & hope you enjoy it as well!

Waco's Historic Suspension Bridge was the longest single-span suspension bridge west of the Mississippi when it was completed in 1870. The bridge was built with cable supplied by the John Roebling Co., who built the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City. Crucial to traders and travelers for well over a century, the bridge stands as an icon of Waco history and is the centerpiece of many community festivals and events including the 4th on the Brazos celebration and Brazos Nights concerts.
The bridge is flanked by two great Waco parks — Indian Spring Park on the west side, and Martin Luther King, Jr. park on the east side.
The bridge also serves as a great venue for parties and special events. Rental information can be obtained by calling the City of Waco Parks & Recreation Dept. at (254) 750-8080.
The River Walk on the west side of the river extends from Ft. Fisher Park, past the Historic Suspension Bridge and continues for an additional 1-1/2 mile to the Herring Ave. bridge. The completion of the River Walk on the east bank of the river allows visitors to walk or jog the River Walk loop and enjoy the view from both sides of the river.

Kayak Fishing on the Middle Bosque
We spent the morning kayak fishing on the Middle Bosque just outside of Waco Texas. We didn't have much luck with the fish, but it was some much needed relaxation after a hectic work week. Thanks so much for watching!!
