[TRAVEL] Day 9-11 in Morocco: We slept in Tetouan, drove to Tanger where we stayed 2 nights. A guide took us to some magical places in Tanger, where we saw the houses of The Clash, Matisse, Mr Forbes, Yves Saint Laurent, ... The next day we want to Cap Spartel and teh Hercules' Caves. جولة من كاب سبارطيل الى حي السواني طنجة 12 05 2017 morocco tangier
رأس سبارطيل (بالفرنسية: Cap Spartel) قمة صخرية جبلية على الساحل المغربي، جنوب مدخل مضيق جبل طارق، 14 كيلومترا غرب طنجة. يقابله رأس الطرف الأغر شمال مدخل مضيق جبل طارق، على الساحل الإسباني. تسميته القديمة هي كاب أمبلسيوس Cap ampelusius.
غالبا ما يتمّ الإشارة لرأس سبارتيل على أنها أقصى نفطة في شمال أفريقيا، وهذا خطأ. الأصحّ أنها أقصى نقطة في شمال الساحل الأطلسي لإفريقيا. ارتفاع القمة هو 315 مترا، وقد عملت أمواج المحيط الأطلسي بالموازاة مع جيولوجيا المنطقة على نحت صخور القمة مشكّلة كهوفا ومغارات أشهرها مغارة هرقل.
توجد في رأس سبارتيل منارة رأس سبارتيل التي بنيت بأمر من السلطان محمد الرابع بن عبد الرحمان، بطلب من ممثّلي قنصليات القوى الأوربية وأمريكا يومها نتيجة لأهمّية المنطقة في الملاحة البحرية وكذا للحوادث التي شهدتها السفن في مدخل المضيق. بدأ تشغيل المنارة يوم 15 أكتوبر 1864 وإنارتها مرئية على بعد 30 ميل بحري (حوالي 55,6 كلمتر).
على ساحل رأس سبارتيل جزيرة مغمورة بالمياه، يعتقد البعض أنّها الجزيرة الأسطورية أطلانطس، في حين يعتقد آخرون أنّها في مكان آخر من المضيق.

It's a beautiful place , very clean tidy and most importantly a very secure place. The location is lovely wonderful views of green trees and sea. The staff where very helpful every time I needed anything. The food is lovely nothing bad to mention, all I say anyone with young kids like mine I will defiantly recommend this place you won't regret. I personally will definitely go back again
