A symbol of Tbilisi, Georgia's mother statue, overlooking the city, is guarding a wine glass in the left hand with a sword in the right hand. In Georgia, the wine seemed to tell us that it is a proud history and life in Georgia that must be followed. Tbilisi has become the capital of Georgia since the 11th century. The landmark Peace Bridge contains the aspirations of peace loving Georgians. The flowers and grape vines, which can be easily seen from anywhere in Tbilisi, are a cool shade for travelers. I stepped in to take a closer look at the city that gave me the first impression of being friendly and relaxed. As we walk down the street, people gather in a small square in front of the building. Old Town Clock Tower. It is the mascot of Old Tbilisi. Why wait here? Every hour an angel comes out from the upper balcony. It's a very famous building in Tbilisi. Finally, an angel who waited for a lot of people showed up. I feel like I'm at a news conference filled with tension when I see people holding breath and killing angels. A messy angel who goes out of his way to turn back, without any hesitation, to hurt his servant. I feel sorry for the quick departure of the angel, but it is a nice day to meet an angel on the first road. Old Tbilisi Street is also a good place for street musicians. It was very impressive to see him dancing in peace with the joyful piano performance. I'm playing the feel and emotion of Old Tbilisi. I think music is a part of life that can not be removed from everyone's lives. Music is a part of life. In Old Tbilisi alley, Seven-year-old grandfather plays a life. On the streets of Tbilisi you can always meet music and dance. Georgians say they can not imagine a world without dancing and wine. Holding a knife and a shield, this dancing, like a knife fight, is a typical Georgian dance called 'Mithi Lurie'. I wonder if the dancers will be hurt all the time. The next day, I found a little special place. Hello, this way. This is the Georgia National Ballet. I was curious about the life of Georgia people who love dance and music. More than 50 of the best dancers selected throughout Georgia were practicing for the show. It's been four years since I became a member of the National Ballet, and I think it's probably since I was 12. The violent and dazzling dance begins again. Dance 'Meituururi' to attack and defend your opponent with all your strength. For a short time, the dancers are sweating swiftly. It's okay, okay. It's okay, but everyone seems exhausted. I love this dance. This is our life. Dance is our country, it is our history. We live this way with our tradition...

Georgian Church, Tbilisi. Храм Кашвети, Тбилиси / Kashueti Church of St. George
The Kashveti Church of St. George (Georgian: ქაშვეთის წმინდა გიორგის სახელობის ტაძარი) is a Georgian Orthodox Church in central Tbilisi, located across from the Parliament building on Rustaveli Avenue.
The Kashveti church was constructed between 1904 and 1910 by the architect Leopold Bilfeldt, who based his design on the medieval Samtavisi Cathedral. The construction was sponsored by the Georgian nobility and bourgeoisie. Kashveti was built on the site of a damaged church built of brick at the request of the Amilakhvari family in 1753. Significant contributions to the current church’s ornate design were made by N. Agladze. Kashveti’s frescoes were painted by the influential Georgian painter, Lado Gudiashvili, in 1947.
The name kashveti is derived from Georgian words kva for a stone and shva to give birth. Legend has it the prominent 6th century monk David of Gareja of the Thirteen Assyrian Fathers was accused by a woman of making her a pregnant in Tbilisi. David prophesied his denial would be proved when she gave birth to a stone. She did, and the place received the name of kashveti.

Sameba or Holy Trinity Cathedral ( Interior ) /
The Holy Trinity Cathedral თბილისის წმინდა სამების საკათედრო ტაძარი of Tbilisi (Georgian: Tbilisis cminda samebis sakathedro tadzari) commonly known as Sameba (Georgian: სამება for Trinity) is the main Cathedral of the Georgian Orthodox Church located in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. Constructed between 1995 and 2004, it is the third-tallest Eastern Orthodox cathedral in the world. Sameba is a synthesis of traditional styles dominating the Georgian church architecture at various stages in history and has some Byzantine undertones.
The Sameba Cathedral is erected on the Elia Hill, which rises above the left bank of the Kura River (Mtkvari) in the historic neighborhood of Avlabari in Old Tbilisi.
Designed in a traditional Georgian style but with an exaggerated vertical emphasis, and regarded as an eyesore by many and venerated by as many others,[6] the Sameba Cathedral has a cruciform plan with a dome over a crossing which rests on eight columns. At the same time, the parameters of the dome is independent from the apses, imparting a more monumental look to the dome and the church in general. The dome is surmounted by a 7.5 metre tall cross covered with gold.
The cathedral consists of nine chapels (chapels of the Archangels, John the Baptist, Saint Nino, Saint George, Saint Nicholas, the Twelve Apostles, and All Saints); five of them are situated in a large, underground compartment. The overall area of the cathedral, including its large narthex, is 5,000 square meters and the volume it occupies is 137 cubic meters. The interior of the church measures 56 metres by 44 metres, with an interior area of 2,380 square metres. The height of the cathedral from the ground to the top of the cross is 105,5 metres. The underground chapel occupies 35,550 cubic metres. The height is 13 metres.
The road from the metro leads up to Trinity church (Tsminda Sameba). It is a hu-ge temple of the peak of the hill - a symbol of Georgian Resurrection, unity and immortality. It arises in the center of Tbilisi on the peak of the mountain, called after the name of a Bible prophet Elia. The height of the cathedral, which can hold 15 000 people, reaches 84 meters, its underground part is 18 meters deep. The place has been chosen so that the cathedral could hover over the entire city - on a high hill. The construction works began in 1995 (the most difficult times for the country) in honor of Lifegiving Trinity in Tbilisi. The cathedral has not been constructed completely yet. The walls are to be painted and some buildings are to be constructed yet. But every detail of its ornament, every feature in the construction plan is agreed upon with Patriarch. But his constant presence is felt not only in this. At the entrance of the cathedral one can see the image of the Virgin. This place is always crowded. This image as the other one - of Savior, which is in the opposite part of ico-nostasis, was painted by Patriarch himself. There are some other icons painted by Patriarch. These are, for example the images of archangels Michael and Gavriil. Besides the cathedral the complex under construction includes the church of Saint Ilia and the belfry. The bells for belfry were cast in Germany and by their sound row they correspond to the row of Georgian polyphony.

Next, I visited Mtzheta, a brilliant cultural city, which was the capital of Georgia until I moved the capital to Tbilisi in the 11th century. The first impression of Mtzheta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was like a fairy tale land. The Zubari Monastery, overlooking Mtskheta, is a must for pilgrimage to the Holy Land. It was used as a military base during the reign of the Soviet Union, and public access was forbidden, but after the independence, it restored the function of the Georgian Orthodox Church. It is now famous for being one of the most popular attractions for photographers in Georgia. It is so beautiful. It's so amazing. It's so peaceful. It is a beautiful scenery. A week in Tbilisi, I went to Mount Kazbegi yesterday and it was beautiful. Cities in Georgia are beautiful and peaceful. In the peaceful landscape in the center of Mtsheta, Is a historical place where the Orthodox Church of Georgia was introduced, embracing Christianity in the 4th century. It is the Sveti Tithe Veli Basilica, which is believed to have been preserved at the time when Jesus Christ was crucified and executed. I decided to meet a woman here who has been guiding the cathedral for 40 years. I was going to wear black clothes from head to toe. Hi. I am the guide. The cathedral journey with a 40-year career guide in unusual atmosphere was expected. The height of the Sveti Tzhovelli cathedral is 54 meters. This cathedral is made of rock salt and stone. There was a window in the secret room on the top, which was used to confirm that the enemy was coming. I quickly fell into the unique, pleasant explanation of the musical actor. In the early 4th century, the original Georgian Orthodox cathedral was destroyed by the invasion of Persia and Russia, and the existing cathedral was rebuilt as a dome in the 11th century. In the 4th century, Georgian 'Miriam no I' and 'Nuno' converted to the Georgian Orthodox Church, and 'Miriam no Kang' was the King of the Georgian Orthodox Church. Mtsheta is called the second Jerusalem. The reason is that Jesus is dressed here as a robe....

Tbilisi, founded as a fortress-city in the V century, is the nation’s capital, its largest city and has been admired by famous people such as Leon Tolstoy and Alexander Dumas. Situated at a strategic crossroads between Europe and Asia, it has been invaded by Persians, Byzantines, Arabs, Turks, Mongols, and Bolsheviks – none of whom were able to crush the energetic and artistic creativity of a people who consider dance to be an expression of Caucasian identity.

Every corner of Tbilisi is quite captivating. Its bewitching spell is cast over the whole of this safe and friendly metropolis in which guests are considered a “gift from God”. The Georgian capital is leading the way in the country’s development. It is an example of urban harmony in which classical architecture and Art Nouveau mix wonderfully together.
Baths from the XII century can be found under the Narikala fortress, in the Abanotubani district. They possess the natural properties of sulphur waters, as King Vakhtang observed when he founded the city of Tbilisi, which was first called Tpili, an old Georgian word meaning “warm springs”.
Near the sulphur baths, there is a group of buildings that symbolize the country’s tolerance: the only Mosque in the world in which Sunni and Shiite Muslims pray together; the Great Synagogue of the Jews who, after the Ottoman Turk invasion of the city of Akhaltsikhe, resettled in Tbilisi towards the end of the XIX century; the “Sioni” or Georgian Orthodox Dormition Cathedral, site of the “Catholik” Patriarchs of Georgia until the consecration of the “Sameba”, or new Cathedral of the Holy Trinity; the Armenian Church of Saint George, in which the poet Sayat-Nova, the “king of songs,” is buried; and the Catholic Church of the Assumption.
At the end of the harvest, colourful folkloric celebrations take place in the wine making areas. These are an expression of the sociability, optimism and unbridled joy that comes from living in an open and prosperous country. A demonstration of passionate national pride, they illustrate how Georgians love to celebrate their strong sense of identity. Their dances, full of passion, leave a lasting impression.

Kari temple of saint George (Tbilisi, Georgia) /
Kari temple of saint George stands near Erekle Square, behind the dwelling house of the last century and with its eastern facade it looks towards Shavteli street. Vakhtang Gorgasali built the first church of the saint Archangel on this site, which then was destroyed during Mongols' invasion at the end of the 14th century. In accordance with the will of king Rostom in the 17th century three temples were erected on its ruins: of Saint John the Baptist, Annunciation and Saint George. Only the latter has been kept for us, the construction of which was completed by prince Svimon in 1710. The plastered and whitened wall ends in pediment. On the two-pitch slope of roof there is a cupola in the center on the low drum. The bell tower rests on the completion of the western facade. The facades and bell tower bear the obvious marks of the alterations dating to the 19th century.

Catholic church named after Saint Virgin Mary (Tbilisi, Georgia)
The church (Polish Roman-Catholic church) was built in the first half of the 19th century. When the architect Zaltsman in 1874 built another Polish Roman-Catholic church, the first one was called old, and the street, where it stands, is called Old Catholic. At Soviet times it was named 1st May street, but at the beginning of the 90s it got the name of Alexandre Dumas street in honor of the remarkable French writer, who stayed in Tbilisi, liked it very much and left its picturesque description. At Soviet times it was rearranged as a storehouse and in the course of time the building was considerably dilapidated. Before Rome Pope's visit to Georgia in 1999, this Polish Roman-Catholic church was restored and now beside catholic messes one can listen to organ music there. The major part of its parish are Georgian Catholics and Poles.
