Italy's Riviera: Cinque Terre
Rick Steves' Europe Travel Guide | Exploring Italy’s most remote and romantic stretch of Riviera, we visit five tiny port towns: dramatic Vernazza, surrounded by vineyards; reclusive Corniglia, high on its bluff; pastel Manarola; hardscrabble Riomaggiore; and the pint-sized resort of Monterosso. Fishing for anchovies, sipping wine out of rustic barrels, and savoring twinkling Mediterranean vistas, we enjoy the ultimate Riviera adventure. | © 2014 Rick Steves' Europe

Italian Riviera Adventure - Cinque Terre - Liguria
After a recent change of direction within the world of filmmaking, I decided to re-make my film I shot last year on the Italian Riviera. We adventured in Sarzana, Lerici, La Spezia, Portovenere and the Cinque Terre.
This was shot within 3 days of escaping the busy city vibes of Milan, I often give myself the opportunity to travel somewhere new or just get out into nature. Liguria captivates me, and it continues to be my favourite place within Italy.
This was shot on the Nikon D7100, handheld with no stabiliser, my kit last year wasn't quite what it is today. Quite the challenge to edit un-stabilised 30fps footage!
Edited and graded in Adobe Premiere Pro CC, I decided to re-make the film as an opportunity to learn the techniques of a completely different application as I was a keen user of FCPX before.

Bautista Family Adventures - Cinque Terre, Italy
This week we are in Cinque Terre, Italy. We are staying at an amazing Airbnb in La Spezia just outside of the Cinque Terre villages but only a 15 minute train ride into the the first village. We were able to explore each of the villages as well as Portovenere and La Spezia. We also got to spend Raenee's birthday in Montorosso al Mare. If this place is not on your bucket list is should be.
Happy travels!! Sincerely,

My Best Days in Cinque Terre, ITALY
My Best Days in Cinque Terre, ITALY. If you think to travel in Italy Cinque Terre is one of the good destination for your holiday. Cinque Terre is a coastal area within Liguria, in the northwest of Italy. It lies west of La Spezia, and comprises five villages: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore. The coastline, the five villages, and the surrounding hillsides are all part of the Cinque Terre National Park a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Cinque Terre area is a popular tourist destination. Over the centuries, people have built terraces on the rugged, steep landscape right up to the cliffs that overlook the sea. Paths, trains and boats connect the villages and cars cannot reach them from the outside.

EXPLORING ITALIAN RIVIERA (CINQUE TERRE) and the disappointing town of VERNAZZA ☹️
SUBSCRIBE: - Let's go visit Vernazza which is a town and comune located in the province of La Spezia, Liguria, northwestern Italy. It is one of the five towns that make up the Cinque Terre region. Vernazza is the fourth town heading north, has no car traffic, and remains one of the truest fishing villages on the Italian Riviera. It is the only natural port of Cinque Terre and is famous for its elegant houses.
In this video, I will point out why I was so disappointed in Vernazza. It was not just the huge crowds but the garbage (rubbish) all over the two beaches (including the Harbour beach) and the unpainted houses (which, according to some guide books, we supposed to look beautiful).

Manarola, Cinque Terre 2019 4k | The Most Amazing Town in Italy
Hey Must Do Travels Tribe! Today we are exploring one of the most iconic places in Cinque Terre, Italy - welcome to Manarola.
Join us as we guide you through the top 6 things to do in this breathtaking village. Let’s go!
Begin by taking a walk
Hiking is one of the best things to do in all of Cinque Terre. Its hiking trails are among the most beautiful in Italy and if you are an outdoor lover, or someone that wants to take a walk in between your bowls of pasta, it’s a great way to begin discovering what Manarola, and the rest of Cinque Terre has to offer.
Romantic Walk
With Manarola’s breathtaking views and stunning cliffside, just a simple walk on the boardwalk is a must if you are looking for something romantic to do!
Explore the Village
In the village, you can find unique shops and cafes while enjoying some of the best wine you’ve ever had - for only a couple of Euros! Sit back and relax while gazing at the boats cruising along the Ligurian sea.
Vineyards
With more grapevines than any other Cinque Terre village, Manarola is famous for its sweet wine. Many tourists love the easy trails that give a scenic view of the sea and of Manarola to get to their wine tastings.
Admire Unique Architecture
Manarola’s unique architecture paints a picture of the village’s history. Manarola may be the oldest of the towns in the Cinque Terre, with the one of the churches, San Lorenzo, dating all the way back to 1338. Manarola is also famous for the pastel coloured houses that adds to the vibrant charm.
Chomp on the Delicious Food
From seafood to gelato, indulge on some of the best food Italy has to offer in Manarola. Although it is a small town, its food really does speak volumes. You have to taste it for yourself! All while enjoying stunning views of the Ligurian Sea.

CINQUE TERRE TRAVEL GUIDE 2019: Monterosso, Manarola, Riomaggiore, Vernazza, Corniglia
The best CINQUE TERRE Travel Guide for 2019: Visit Monterosso, Manarola, Riomaggiore, Vernazza & Corniglia. We did all five villages in 48 hours and each village offers a different experience. Please share your experience and tips below for other to read. Our top tips for your visit:
1. VALIDATE YOUR TRAIN TICKET: If you don't validate your ticket in the green machines then you risk being fined €50 (which we did - gutted).
2. CARRY CASH: Many places are cash only, so don't forget to carry some with you.
3. PREPARE FOR STAIRS: We were surprised by the amount of stairs and uphill climbs there were. For those with mobility issues I would recommend Monterosso and Vernazza.
4. HIKING MUST KNOWS: Planning to hike? There are lots of hikes in the Cinque Terre national park, you will have to pay to walk some of the routes (but if you bought a day train ticket then it's included). The terrain does require hiking boots and be sure to take plenty of water and sunscreen. Also the coastal walk through all five towns is no longer fully accessible. Due to a landslide you can only do a few of the routes, we did Corniglia to Vernazza and then to Monterosso.
5. NO DRONE ZONE: Drones are now banned in Cinque Terre and the villagers will approach you if you attempt to fly one.

My newest toy, and new love of my life is my DRONE I highly recommend the 'fly more' package, I didn't go for it and then went back to buy more batteries because flight time of the standard package just isn't enough.
For steady shots I use my GoPro 5 along with the KARMA GRIP:
My main camera for nice looking shots is a Canon 70D: And never underestimate the difference it makes to get a good quality SD CARD:
Also sound on the Canon is not good enough for video so I use the SHURE MIC: this is the best thing I ever bought.
When vlogging I need an easy to carry, ready to go camera and so I have a specific VLOGGING CAMERA:
And finally for editing I use Final Cut Pro X on my
