Cioccolati Italiani Gelato Ice Cream @ Milan, Italy (Near Duomo Cathedral)
Awesome staff who will compile the delicious gelato ice cream and accommodate your ingredients (mine was suppose to be strawberry but I asked for pistachio). A group of 3 people had their ice cream expedited and with little customization if reasonable also helps if you speak Italian (no guarantee though)
Disappointed the gelato did not have the actual nut mixed into the ice cream (my favorite / preference)! The chocolate is very overpowering and will mask the taste of pistachio and other flavors I would think (comment below)
the cone is dipped with chocolate and sprinkled with peanuts outside (the chocolate dip covers the whole inside until the bottom)
Overall good experience and very satisfying! Give it a try if you are in Milan and let me know how you like it!

Adventures in Italy: Milano, Italy
I've seen Milan in all its glory, from its stunning Duomo, rustic-coloured trams roaming around the city, to idyllic parks and historical sites like Parco Sempione and Church of San Maurizio al Monastero Maggiore and famous gelato of Cioccolati italiani. Milano is also a great Italian city to discover. It is highly industrialised, high-end, upscale yet very historical and rich in history. To discover its depths as a leading city in Italy gave me the opportunity to really see how life works in this city. Tourism is one of the lifelines of Milan. With the works of Da Vinci and grandeur of the Duomo is more than enough to convince someone to go to Milan. And the great thing about our stay in Milan is that we met great people who became our friends. Probably that's something that makes one adventure more meaningful. And we will never forget Milan because of our 'misadventures' but they gave us lessons to learn as we head off to the next Italian city! ????????????????
Milan, Italy In 2 Nights | Exploring Milano Vlog
Hi & (hopefully) welcome back to my channel!
I am so excited to have you follow along on our latest Mother-Daughter Italy Trip! This year our first stop is Milano for 2 nights (nearly 2 days), and I feel like it was the perfect welcome back to Italy for us. It was nearly 10 years since I've been back to Milan, and I must say, I really enjoyed my time here. In this vlog we of course explore the main tourist attractions such as the Duomo di Milano, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, and many terraces with beautiful views and a Spritz in hand. We also explored an area I have never seen called the Navigli. The Naviglio Grande is a beautiful canal in Milano, and a perfect spot to walk around, have a drink, or eat some street food while taking in the breathtaking sights. We really loved this area and it was a highlight of our trip. Since we had such a short time in Milan, we saw the Sforzesco Castle as well, but at night time. We loved La Rinascente shopping mall, like I said, for the beautiful terraces with a view, specifically the mozzarella bar Obica! We also enjoyed eating street food at Luini (for delicious panzerotti), very cheesy pizza at Spontini, and gelato at Cioccolati Italiani :)
I hope you enjoyed following along on our mother-daughter 2019 Italy trip. If you did please leave a thumbs up and don't forget to subscribe, because this is only our first stop... Next up: Lake Como (again)! xox

Italian Breakfast in Milan, Italy
Recently we've spent over a month in England and Ireland. For breakfast, on a typical day, we've been eating the likes of eggs, sausages, bacon, and fried potatoes. It's basically been an all-star assortment of savory types of items washed down with tea. Now that we've found ourselves in Milan, Italy it's a whole other story. After consulting with some locals and doing a bit of research online, we've realized Italian breakfast is a sweet affair. Coffee or cappuccino paired with something sweet (pastries, cakes, breads, jams) is what a local would have more often than not. With this in mind we visited a cafe recommended by a friend to sample some sweet Italian breakfast.

Italian Breakfast in Milan, Italy Travel Video Transcript:
Well good morning from Milano, Italia. We are here in Italy. It is our first day, so we have gone in search of the Italian breakfast. Now we weren't entirely sure what an Italian breakfast looks like so we did a bit of research and asked around and apparently it is just a coffee and anything sweet. So that could be pastries, bread with jam, cake or cookies. So we've sat down at a little cafe and we're going to have our first Italian breakfast.
So my beverage of choice today is the cappuccino because it is a very cold day. And why not have some frothy coffee. It's a cold day. When is fifteen degrees considered cold? Look at the way I'm dressed. I'm cold okay?
Ooh, that is nice. Excellent cappuccino. Nice and rich and frothy? Mmmm.
Indeed. Wanna try some?
So this breakfast reminds me a bit of breakfast in France and also in Argentina. A sweet way to start the day and I have to say it is a quite a huge contrast and change from what we were used to in England and Ireland where we were having full savory breakfasts. With eggs and sausages and mushrooms. Lower calories and a lot sweeter.
And this pastry here I've selected, I honestly don't really know what it is. What made me select it was that I saw walnut bits. And hey, I'm a huge fan of walnuts so I don't know what is inside. It looks like it might be apple. Let's find out.
I thought it was going to be prunes. Mmmm.
No, no no. That is like pecan pie. That's pecan filling inside. Let's see the inside. Oh wow!
That is so delicious.
Oh, it's like having pecan pie.
Pie for breakfast. He's a happy boy.
And what do you have over there?
Well, this is the pastry I chose. It is a little twisty one with chocolate chips.
That is really good. It is very buttery and flaky. And you just can't go wrong with chocolate chips this early in the morning. I'm a fan.
So we're going to be here for a week in the Lombardy region and I can't wait to try as much Italian food as possible. It's one of my favorite cuisines.
And last but not least, price point? Well, this delicious breakfast for two came to five Euros and that included two cappuccinos and two pastries. So not an expensive way to start the day.
Yeah, talk about value. Mmmmhhmmm.
This is part of our Travel in Italy series. We're making a series of videos showcasing Italian culture, Italian arts, Italian foods, Italian religion, Italian cuisine and Italian people.

Milan Vlog 2019: Things to do in Milan
For my birthday this year I travelled to Milan, Italy and decided to capture the memories created during my three day stay. We tried to explore the city as much as we could and I did my best to showcase its beauty. I personally love city breaks and really enjoy visiting famous attraction sites, and appreciating the countries history, food and culture.
I highly recommend this city if you’re looking for a vibrant short city break. Both the travel expenses and food was affordable, and the people were really nice and welcoming.Three/four days is more than enough to visit Milan, even a weekend get away.
We wanted to visit Lake Como as well but we didn't have a lot of time on our hands. If you are staying for a few extra days, I suggest visiting the near by lakes ie: Lake Como, Lake Garda, Lake Maggiore or Lake Iseo, which from the airport or central station is roughly a 1-2 hour train ride.
One thing I noticed is that Italians love a good protest, almost every site we were at, there was a protest going on. Also they have the cutest dogs and love to dress their dogs in cute clothing.
Key places to visit include:
1- Dumo di Milano
2- Santa Maria delle Grazie ( did not visit)
3- Galleria Vittorio
4- Sforzesco Castle
5- Teatro alla Scala + Monument of Leonardo da Vinci
6- Sempione Park
7- Arco della Pace
8- Naviglio Grande ( recommend eating by the canal side, they also have a deal - similar to happy hour, known as “aperitivo”. Between 6-10pm you can buy a beverage of your choice (Traditionally alcoholic) and they have an all you can eat buffet -pasta, risotto, pizza, salads .. in most of the restaurants and cafes nearby.
9- Buy pizza and ice cream ( recommend Spontini near Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, and either Cioccolati Italiani or Venchi Cioccolato e Gelato ice cream stores.
10- Visit the nearby Lakes (Lake Como is a popular one and closest to Milan)
Hope you enjoy :)
