EPIOSDE 45 - Travel to Miami - ClubMed
Hi everyone and welcome to our Sailing Trip Family channel.
Sorry but another episode without anything about sailing. This time we had to fly to Miami for a job. So we left our boat here in Panama and we went to Sand Piper in Miami for two weeks. We have been contracted by a resort ‘ClubMed” fo an event and we have been allowed to take our daughters for free during those two weeks. They spent an amazing holiday. We had to perform every evening and we were free all day, so we could enjoy a lot this resort. It was so good to have a big bed and to take long shower without thinking of the water ;-)
So even if there is anything about sailing, we wanted to share with you this nice resort and some about our performing show.

US Sailors Arrive in Havana Legally for First Time in 50 Years
A total of 20 U.S. catamarans and support boats arrived in the Cuban capital Havana on Saturday, after taking part in a regatta that received approval from the United States government for the first time in 50 years.
The Key West Yacht Club vessels set off on Saturday morning from Key West, the southernmost point of the Florida Keys, and arrived in Havana after a more than 10-hour voyage.
Many Cubans came to the shore to welcome the sailors.
This is historic because for the first time in 50 years, we have permits to come down here from the United States government. So this is a sanctioned event as part of perhaps the warming of relations between the United States and Cuba, said George Bellenger, the leader of the Key West Yacht Club team.
