We have fishing reels screaming in this fishing episode! We are catching cero mackerel and in this South Florida Fishing Episode Heiko Winkler will show you how to catch fish and how to smoke fish!
We start this fishing epsidoe by catching bait off my dock. I had my mind set that we will catch king mackerel in this fishing episode but to my surprise we end up catching an even better fish to smoke. The Cero Mackerel!
This fishing episode takes place off the reefs edge out of Key Largo in the Florida keys. We want to film a catch and cook and get exactly what we wanted. Even better, we film a catch and smoke. And I show you how to do it all.
You will see how to smoke fish. In this case the smoked fish is a cero mackerel. And those mackerel make our fishing reels go screaming! Screaming for an epic catch n cook!
The smoked fish can be eaten just plain as I do during the catch and cook part but in a future fishing episode we will also make smoked fish dip with the smoked fish!
I love to smoke fish with cero mackerel, it's one of the best! And we are screaming with joy during this catch n cook. I hope you learned how to smoke fish from this fishing episode! What a great day in Florida!
I hope you enjoyed this Fishing episode on the South Florida Fishing Channel where we have our fishing reels screaming and I show you how to smoke fish and how to catch the fish we cook. We are fishing out of Key Largo, Florida. Please leave a like and comment to show your support. Thank you!

Chesapeake Bay Yacht Delivery -Cabo Rico 38
I had the pleasure of accompanying the new owner of this fantastic 1992 Cabo Rico 38 Silver Series, S/V Watauga, on the trip from Annapolis, MD to her new Home Port in Norfolk, VA. I managed to rip open my hand on a jagged metal piling cover just as we pulled out of the slip in NapTown but a helpful EMT working at City Marina patched me up good enough to make the trip. We had a nice run down the Bay with a reasonably steady NE wind for most of the trip but it was a good deal more chilly than we had expected. For a couple of old Marines it was reminiscent of younger days when cold was just a state of mind. Come aboard and sail with S/V Watauga from Annapolis to Norfolk.

Welcome to Sport Fishing Yacht Sales. I'm Mike Simko, and it's my pleasure to present you a true offshore battle wagon. Between 2000 and 2003 Hatteras yacht restyled and built an improved version of its top selling 65' convertible. Whose product previously ran from 1987-1999. Today we'll be touring a beautiful 2002 65' Hatteras Convertible named You Know. She resides in North Palm Beach, Florida and let's get right into it!
The obvious mission of a 65' Hatteras Sportfish is catching big game fish. From the bridge to the cockpit we can instantly access 18 rods. Six from rocket launchers on the bridge rail, 4 in the cockpit wings, 4 in the gunnels and 4 out of the fighting chair. If you think that's a lot of rods, you can more than double that in storage both under the bridge deck lounge and in the cabin.
Her cockpit is a huge 183 sq ft. Here we find a transom fishbox w/ ice chipper and another fishbox in sole, an extra wide transom door w/ hinged covering board that's easily capable of easily sliding a grander through it. To starboard we have a bait prep station w/ tackle locker beneath, salon swing door, engine room access, bait freezer, live well, full sun shade, Bluewater fighting chair and full combing bolsters.

Description
This 65 Hatteras convertible open bridge is ready to fish or cruise. The sleek exterior and raked back look of the Hatteras 65 Convertible only exemplifies its stylish good looks. The salon boasts rich high glossed teak woodwork throughout along with teak valances, which gives the salon a luxurious and open feel. This restyled version of Hatteras's top selling 65 model features a state of the art engineered superstructure while retaining the proven prop pocket hull that has made the 65 Hatteras famous. The three stateroom three head plan has incredible amounts of storage as well as frameless windows and a huge engine room. This vessel also features a Naiad Roll Stabilizing system.
Vessel Walk Through
The salon offers a large, leather L-shaped sofa, the huge dinette, which has a granite table, opens itself up to the fully equipped galley and salon to entertain a very large group or family. The galley is open w/ granite countertops and Subzero under counter freezer/refrigeration. Full galley appliances allow the owners and guests to stay on board for extended lengths of time whether at the dock or on the hook w/twin 21.5 kW Onan generators.
Owners and guests will thoroughly enjoy spacious sleeping accommodations. The owners' cabin is mid-ship and has a large walk around queen as does the forward VIP guest stateroom in the bow. In the companionway is the laundry center with a stack washer and dryer. Also in the companionway there is a wine cooler, refrigerator, and safe, all in built-in cabinetry. The guest quarters (also offered as crews quarters) is located just down the companionway immediately to starboard. These quarters offer over under sleeping bunks, private head, stall shower, access to pump room and a custom, optional door to the engine room where crew can enter the vessel without disturbing the owners and guests.
Salon
On the main salon deck the galley, dinette and salon are one large open space in an interior that has been beautifully stained and a high gloss finish. With complimentary wood louvered blinds, fluted valances and interior frames around the large windows on either side and aft. Fit and finish is superior throughout the salon and L-shaped couch has plenty of storage beneath as does the large table adjoining it. The dinette forward and to stbd sits 5. Speaking of storage, Hatteras did a wonderful job of utilizing every bit of available space. Rounding out the salon area is a large screen TV to stbd and over 30 high hats over-head, rope lighting behind the valances and a surround sound stereo system.
The gourmet galley to port features 4 drawer subzero under counter refrigerator and freezer, 4 burner stove, convection/microwave, dish washer and a granite counter top that can accommodate preparations for a dinner for 6.
Thanks for taking the time to tour the incredible 65' Hatteras Convertible, You Know with me.
