DUBAI Day Trips: UAE East Coast & Mountains
Full article here:
More trip info at:
Great Day Trips from Dubai! - A wonderful adventure away from the hustle and bustle of busy Dubai and Abu Dhabi, exposing a very different side of this fascinating region!
Beautiful mountain ranges and canyons and the beautiful, quiet beaches along the East Coast in the Emirate of Fujairah.
The tour passed through 4 Emirates - Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al-Khaimah and Fujairah.
Stops along the way included Sharjah, Friday Market in Masafi, the beautiful mountain ranges, Dibba, East Coast Beaches in the Emirate of Fujairah, Sandy Beach Resort for Lunch, Bidyia Mosque (oldest and smallest in the UAE), Fort Fujairah and the Grand Mosque of Fujairah.
A wonderful experience that is highly recommended to get a more complete image of this region - and have a quiet day out.
Best are weekdays (anything, but Friday or Saturday) to avoid the weekend crowds.

Musandam Day Trip from Dubai, Sharjah or Ajman | Transfers, Snorkelling & Lunch
Book Trip on DubaiRelaxTours.com, call us at +971 52 899 6307 or email us at web{at}dubairelaxtours.com
Musandam is one of the most beautiful peninsulas in the world and definitely a must see for visitors to the UAE who are looking for some interaction with nature.
The area consists of mountainous fjords which fall directly into the waters of the Gulf of Oman, which flow from the Indian Ocean.
The day trip consists of a transfer from Dubai, Sharjah or Ajman - where you would basically get picked up from your hotel/residence and driven to Dibba, Oman.
Once there, you would board a traditional Arabic 'Dhow' that has been refurbished for tourism purposes and sail northwards along the peninsula.
After 45-60 minutes we will arrive at a lagoon where the boat will anchor and guests will be able to visit the beach nearby or go snorkelling.
Lunch will be served onboard.
After approximately 2 hours at the lagoon we will set sail again and do some hand line fishing in the ocean where we are likely to catch some barracudas.
Eventually we will return to the port before sundown and make our way back to the city lights.
JUMEIRAH BEACH, DUBAI TRAVEL, PLACES TO SEE IN DUBAI
دبي JUMEIRAH BEACH, DUBAI, Dubai is a city and emirate in the United Arab Emirates known for luxury shopping, ultramodern architecture and a lively nightlife scene. Burj Khalifa, an 830m-tall tower, dominates the skyscraper-filled skyline. At its foot lies Dubai Fountain, with jets and lights choreographed to music. On artificial islands just offshore is Atlantis, The Palm, a resort with water and marine-animal parks. Dubai (/duːˈbaɪ/ doo-BY; Arabic: دبي Dubayy, Gulf pronunciation: [dʊˈbɑj]) is the largest and most populous city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).[4] It is located on the southeast coast of the Persian Gulf and is the capital of the Emirate of Dubai, one of the seven emirates that make up the country. Abu Dhabi and Dubai are the only two emirates to have veto power over critical matters of national importance in the country's Federal Supreme Council.[5][6] The city of Dubai is located on the emirate's northern coastline and heads the Dubai-Sharjah-Ajman metropolitan area. Dubai will host World Expo 2020.[7]
Dubai emerged as a global city and business hub of the Middle East.[8] It is also a major transport hub for passengers and cargo. By the 1960s, Dubai's economy was based on revenues from trade and, to a smaller extent, oil exploration concessions, but oil was not discovered until 1966. Oil revenue first started to flow in 1969.[9] Dubai's oil revenue helped accelerate the early development of the city, but its reserves are limited and production levels are low: today, less than 5% of the emirate's revenue comes from oil.[10]
The Emirate's Western-style model of business drives its economy with the main revenues now coming from tourism, aviation, real estate, and financial services.[11][12][13] Dubai was recently named the best destination for Muslim travellers by Salam Standard.[14] Dubai has recently attracted world attention through many innovative large construction projects and sports events. The city has become iconic for its skyscrapers and high-rise buildings, in particular the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa. Dubai has been criticised for human rights violations concerning the city's largely South Asian and Filipino workforce.[15] Dubai's property market experienced a major deterioration in 2008–09 following the financial crisis of 2007–08,[16] but the emirate's economy has made a return to growth, with a projected 2015 budget surplus.[17]
As of 2012, Dubai was the 22nd most expensive city in the world and the most expensive city in the Middle East.[18][19] In 2014, Dubai's hotel rooms were rated as the second most expensive in the world, after Geneva.[20] In 2013, U.S. global consulting firm Mercer rated Dubai the best place to live in the Middle East. Dubai has a hot desert climate. Summers in Dubai are extremely hot, windy, and humid, with an average high around 41 °C (106 °F) and overnight lows around 30 °C (86 °F) in the hottest month, August. Most days are sunny throughout the year. Winters are warm with an average high of 24 °C (75 °F) and overnight lows of 14 °C (57 °F) in January, the coldest month. Precipitation, however, has been increasing in the last few decades, with accumulated rain reaching 94.3 mm (3.71 in) per year.[58] Dubai summers are also known for the moderate to high humidity level, which can make it uncomfortable for many.[59] The highest recorded temperature in the UAE is 52.1 °C (126 °F), reached in July 2002

Dubai and #dubaicitytour is the largest and most populous city of the United Arab Emirates | UAE and the capital of #dubai. It is also the world's leading passenger hub. 1. Burj Khalifa
Dubai's landmark building is the Burj Khalifa, which at 829.8 meters is the tallest building in the world and the most famous of the city's points of interest. For most visitors, a trip to the observation deck on the 124th floor here is a must-do while in the city. The views across the city skyline from this bird's-eye perspective are simply staggering.
2. Burj al-Arab
The Burj Al-Arab is the world's tallest hotel, standing 321 meters high on its own artificial island on the Dubai coastline. Designed to resemble a billowing dhow sail, the exterior of the building is lit up by a choreographed, colored lighting show at night.
3. Palm Jumeirah
A manmade island in the shape of a palm tree - there's a reason why locals say 'only in Dubai.' Palm Jumeirah is one of the largest artificial islands in the world. Locals and tourists alike enjoy the Palm's vast array of high-end hotels, including the Waldorf Astoria, Fairmont, One&Only, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray and, perhaps most notably, the iconic Atlantis, The Palm.
4. Dubai Marina
Marvel at iconic buildings as you stroll along #dubaimarina Walk or see the sights from the water on a traditional dhow cruise.
5. Dubai Mall
Right next to the Burj Khalifa is The Dubai Mall. Along with its 1,200-plus shops and 150 restaurants, the venue is home to an indoor theme park, an ice rink, a huge indoor waterfall, a choreographed outdoor fountain, and the giant Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo. Dubai Mall is the city's premier mall.
6. Dubai Aquarium
One of the city's top tourist attractions, the Dubai Aquarium houses 140 species of sea life in the huge suspended tank on the ground floor of the Dubai Mall.
7. The Dubai Fountain
The Dubai Fountain, located at the base of the iconic Burj Khalifa and just outside the doors of the famous The Dubai Mall, features the world's largest choreographed fountain system. This popular dancing water show jets water streams as high as 150 meters in the air.
